Youtube is pretty competitive, I'm sure your not alone in feeling disheartened by fewer views than you'd like. If making videos is what you enjoy then keep at it mate.

Yes, that's the goal! Ideally I'd develop other revenue streams such as a music career and having a clothing line, but ideally I'd eventually end my day job. I have kind of a 3 step goal:
Goal 1: pay grocery bill with youtube $
Goal 2: be able to work half-time
Goal 3: youtube (and music) full time!

Yes. I don't want to end youtube, but as mentioned above, I want to further my music career and start a clothing line.

No end goal. Just rungs on a potentially endless ladder.
Goal 1: 10k
Goal 2: 100k
Goal 3: 1 million
and so on!

This is a bit subjective to me. I mean I kind of already do, since I have fans and I could be paid to make a sponsored video. I would like to have more social influence as my channel grows.

I work in media and have youtube on my portfolio to demonstrate my video and marketing skills. It helped me getting the job I have today. My channel has helped me get a job and my job has helped me grow my channel.

You've definitely planned your YouTube future out, I'd like to have a clothing line too! A year ago I bought a sewing machine and began learning from scratch, I'm now selling that same Bernina machine on Ebay as I've realized it's the design element I enjoy, not the sewing it self. Okay so it's pretty clear that media, music and clothing are your passions so it's great you've got a plan in mind to combine them all in one place. You've got a media job already and you've already got a subscriber base that's on the rise so I guess your already kinda' living the dream!

Same, I love the design aspect.
Just entered the media industry this year after working in a well paid but unfulfilling customer service job that I hated. As I'm just starting out, money's a little tight, but other than that I'm so much happier and I have way more time and creative energy to work on my channel.

The day I walked out of that job was the best day ever. A huge weight off my shoulders.
I'm fortunate enough to be in the position where I could go back to school for a semester to get a certificate in Digital Media and use financial aid to support me. In the meanwhile I decided to look for an internship. I pretty much instantly found an paid internship for 20 hours/week and they're already planning on hiring me full time when I finish the program so the timing is perfect!
