Massive drop in views on kid channels

Hello everyone

Am I understanding it correctly that in 30 days we won’t be uploading to YouTube but only YouTube kids.com? Or maybe it’s all confusing and no one is sure what’s going on.

No nothing has changed with that. Youtubekids.com has been determined to be nothing of note and will likely never be used. It is expected although not confirmed that Youtube will be forced under the FTC settlement to set up a valid age gate on Youtube. This means some type of action required to show that you are 13 or older. The vast majority of kid views come from the main Youtube app on cell phones and tablets. It remains to be seen how restrictive the age gate will be. It also remains to be seen if the kid is watching on a device signed into their adult parents account, will it assume that an adult is watching when in fact it is obvious that a kid is watching based on the content.

I am not sure where you read about this. I thoink you cannot upload directly through ytkids

These creators had another bo and na channel, which took off the day of the fall, now they have started uploading videos on this new channel they get millions in hours, just like these

I am not sure how are they doing. Plus how they are able to make daily content

look at the upload date, they are doing several day, so they must have them on file or buying them in bulk, just a guess. Or they already had them and changed the channel name and re-uploaded them ...who knows,,,mine are just guesses,

This channel's oldest video is 4 days ago. The channel has been in existence since 2006 and they deleted their previous content. On August 16th, they deleted videos accounting for over 43 million views. This means they likely had content deemed inappropriate. I would say it is likely they are view botting. It is also a lie that the channel is from the United States.

where are the algorithms now....in the meantime, legit creators are scratching for a buck...kills me.
 
I think it's just an error in the algorithm, it's prioritizing content that isn't English. and they have managed to manipulate it. in the final screen they have 4 channels plus all with similar growth
