Google to settle YouTube child privacy violations for up to $200 million

Does the determination of the amount of punishment means that something has become certain?

Interesting channel here that is clearly very educational and quite honestly not what kids like to watch. I had my 7 year old daughter watch this and she got bored with it very quick. It is a very educational channel and very much like something PBS would show. This channel has skyrocketed with views. The algorithm is clearly somehow factoring in educational value. https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/blippivideos

This article says “Some have suggested that YouTube disable ads on all videos aimed at kids”. Why. Google can run untargeted ads. Don’t they know making content especially animation is expensive. Or do these groups think people who make them don’t have bills. Maybe Nickelodeon needs to turn off all their ads on tv and work for free.
