Massive drop in views on kid channels

How's everyone's channels doing then? We will soon be nearly 2 months since the kidpocalypse.

My all time low was during that week in July when everybody was hit, but since then it's settled at reasonable levels. Although my views are not what they used to be, they're still pretty damn good. CPM has, weirdly, improved quite a bit post drop for me, so I'm still making about 60% of what I used to whilst averaging 50% less views which is not bad.

Also worth pointing out is that my videos still have never shown up on YouTube kids.

Mine is still 50 % lower in views and revenue since July. Also not one video in the kids YouTube. My 250000 subs translated into 3000 who actually clicked the bell and now I only get 500 views on any new video. They finished me......but I will not stop. I've doNE this for 10 years and those who like the content tell me in my still functioning comment section. All clean all evergreen all kid friendly.

We have experienced almost all of our views moved to Youtube Kids. The majority of our views come from the United States and United Kingdom, yet the revenue is basically nonexistent. We are fine with this, but I just want to show everyone how bad revenue is on Youtube Kids. This is especially bad considering almost 65% of the traffic is from the United States which is extremely high for a kids channel on Youtube.

One thing that really has me curious is that it really seems like the amount of views on kid content in general is way down and Youtube doesn't allow new kids videos to take off like they used to. I remember back when Toy Monster and Webs and Tiara were cashing in on Elsagate, they were literally getting almost 4 billion views a year per channel. Remember with Ryan ToysReview was getting 200 million views on a lot of videos? They have a video from 2016 that has 1.8 billion views and this was when their content wasn't even professionally edited. Now they have access to a complete studio working with Nick Jr and they don't even sniff those numbers on any new uploads. In fact, some of their newest videos don't even hit a million. It is almost like Youtube still promotes videos from 2016 and 2017 in the kids space over new videos. Has the kids space become so saturated with people trying to get rich that the views are the same, but just distributed to so many different channels?

Sounds like you got "shadow banned"

There is an expression in this statement. So everything will be better after 30 days? What do you think?

When is this happening? (8/22/19)

We want to give creators time to get familiar with this update which is why we will begin removing these videos without giving a strike to the channel as we ramp up enforcement over the next 30 days. Additionally, we won’t strike videos uploaded prior to this update, but we may still remove the content.

These creators had another bo and na channel, which took off the day of the fall, now they have started uploading videos on this new channel they get millions in hours, just like these
