Thanks for that ...whay you say is so true. Have a great day.ianmacdon, I feel for you. I am familiar with your channel and you were one of the channels that created the kids trend on youtube. Back then, videos were made so that kids had access to free content and it was made with no profit incentive. People forget that when many of us started Youtube, you didn't earn a dime and never could have imagined making money. Google simply abandoned the many that made these videos popular in favor of content creators that joined simply to make money and were often based in foreign countries that have engaged in a culture of fraud against the American people most often without consequence or accountability from their government. We lived through Elsagate, bad baby, horror mickey/peppa pig, Real Life Superheroes, pregnant princesses, big spiders hurting kids, blood and guts with children, urination/feces with children, bathtub videos, pedophile videos, and many more ridiculous trends that the MACHINE decided was good for kids.
The algorithm does not work and never will work for kids content. There will always be bad actors that will manipulate the system for their own gain at the expense of our kids. People forget we still have people riding around in luxury cars that were paid for by exposing our kids to a pregnant ELSA having explicit contact with Spiderman. These content creators, some of which still have huge channels and since changed their content to follow the "rules", should be sued and held accountable.
well traffic dropped again by 50% at 2 pm. is anyone having the same problem?
No, not on my end, still holding out hope that they will readjust this latest algo change to give us a chance. best wishes to you.
A good question is WHY does it take so long for them to act, remember the elsagate crap , those guys were driving Lamborghini's after 3 months, and it took many more months for them to get removed. These abuses killed the legitimate creators with clean family friendly videos, but they don;t care about all of us who gave up their jobs to do this full time...like they told us to do !!! I was earning enough to support my family, until they screwed things up with the free-for-all and anyone can be a monetized partner...killed me. And it happened like the snap of a switch, had to find a job after being promised we could do this for a living. Now with 2850 all family friendly kids videos I am making 5 dollars a day. Might be a lot in some places in the world...but not here....buys a coffee and a parking spot for 45 minutes. Partner support, creator support and my youtube manager say everything is fine !! ...yeah, for them. sheesh.Another example of child abuse/exploitation and the consequences are a slap on the wrist. This channel continues to rake in millions of dollars and their punishment was a counseling class on child abuse. They removed the offending videos and pretend that everything is fine now. Many children and many American children were exposed to this. Another example of Google and their terrible algorithm. Once again another example showing that nothing will change until you eliminate the number 1 driving factor, MONEY. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/...er-boram-buys-8-million-property-in-seoul.htm
their punishment was a counseling class on child abuse.
I have seen quite a few bad actors from asia. there's definitely a copyright issue in some countries. theres also bad actors from eastern europe. im pretty sure there are prolific copyright issues from other places as well.Yep, as you say it's all about the money. Seoul and Korea obviously enjoy the taxes the channel generates and don't want to cut off the hand that feeds them.
As an aside, I've noticed that a large proportion of the "bad actors" on YouTube come from Asia. In particular, they seem to have a total disregard for copyright over there. They seem to think that digital content is public domain.
Yeah, mine just dropped 50% today at 3:00 PM...and not recovering...hope its a glitch..but it likely isn;t /well traffic dropped again by 50% at 2 pm. is anyone having the same problem?
