SIMPLE flower with SPLIT CUP ~ 3D printed FLOWER SHAPED CUP ~ Acrylic pour painting

I finally can show you, how 3D printed flower shaped cups work. I'm really happy with it, because you can use it in at least three ways.
Today I will do a straight pour with split cup over the lid (bottom) of 3d printed flower shaped cup to create simple flower acrylic pour painting.

From PUDDLES to FLOWER ~ EASY pour for BEGINNERS ~ Reverse flower dip ~ Step by step tutorial

I will publish one video a week, where I will demonstrate acrylic pouring techniques for beginners.
It will be step by step tutorials, with all the information.
This time I will show you how to create beautiful flower with drawing just puddles.

TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip with puddles


PROCESS:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Make puddles with your colours
- Draw some petal pattern
- Put down damped paper napkin or towel
- Lift the napkin
- Torch
- And here is your flower

MATERIAL:
- 8x8 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Paper napkin or towel
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Torch

COLOURS:
- Boesner titanium white
- Arties colours cadmium orange hue
- Vallejo quinacridone magenta
- Liquitex dioxazine purple

My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.

RAINBOW WEEK ~ Wandering SPLIT CUP pour ~ Acrylic pour painting ~ 7 different pour techniques

This week will be a RAINBOW WEEK I will do seven pours with rainbow colours and seven different techniques. First is this wandering split cup pour that I really love, because it's so bright and happy.

RAINBOW WEEK ~ 3D printed FLOWER SHAPED CUP ~ Reverse flower dip ~ MUST SEE!!!
This week will be a RAINBOW WEEK I will do seven pours with rainbow colours and seven different techniques. Today I did my favorite technique - Cup bottom reverse flower dip. You must see, how beautiful and bright this flower turned out... LOVE IT!

TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip with paper napkin, Cup bottom pour


PROCESS:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Put your 3D PRINTED FLOWER SHAPED CUP on the canvas with bottom up
- Pour paints on the bottom and use PEARL WHITE or some metallic paints between each colour to create petal - lacing effect
- Take off the cup
- Use SKEWER to draw some petal shapes
- Gently put PAPER NAPKIN or towel on canvas ( You can use dry or damped napkin)
- Lift one corner at the time and then gently lift it (the middle last)
- Torch it for air bubbles and to activate pearl white and (or) metallic paints
- And here is your flower :)

STRAINER SPLIT CUP pour ~ Rainbow week Day 3 ~ Acrylic pour painting

The third day of a RAINBOW WEEK I did a STRAINER SPLIT CUP acrylic pour painting. I had some troubles with the middle, but I think that I saved it with the balloon dip.

The fourth day of a RAINBOW WEEK I did a spiral reverse flower dip. Obviously I'm out of practice, because I wasn't happy with the result, but I think that it's important to publish videos, where something goes wrong is important too. So here it is ;)

Indian summer ~ SPLIT CUP acrylic pour with PEARL WHITE ~ Acrylic pouring tutorial
When I did this split cup acrylic pour tutorial, I looked at the painting it reminds me of Indian summer, because of the little blooms on the branch. It has so many gorgeous details and I could dive into that greenery around.
