How to stop looking at the view count?

I know what you mean. In the beginning I was doing that a lot too. But it stopped at one point. Now I can't even tell you whether I have 2.1 Million or 2.3 Million views. And I can't tell you whether I have 9100 subs or 9800. The time comes where so much happenes on the channel that you anyway can't keep up with it and you loose track. And this is a good thing since you should rather concentrate on your content.
Now I check my channel once or twice a day, having a short look but nothing further.

Like several others said, the best way you can give yourself peace of mind about it is to just set a realistic goal to achieve and then focus on the future (i.e. planning or filming new projects, taking care of stuff around your house, getting your other work done, etc.) and don't let yourself be disappointed for too long if you don't quite make your goal that time. Just try to ask yourself questions about what might be holding you back and how you will improve your videos for next time.
