If anything, I could care less whether it brought people to my channel as I'd rather not have my Twitter feed spammed throughtout and entire day and get notified even the day after about this. Perhaps it's my fault for thinking better than to have a YouTuber just put me on blast for something like this. I admit it's my fault for thinking that, but do you think it was right for him to just do this knowing how toxic and following his fanbase can really be at times?Unless that was his plan all along. Generate his own drama and hope people visit his channel when it blows up?
So, may I give you a scenario? If you see someone is giving out a sale to someone yourself, would you not think that the person would be willing to give out the sale to other people besides that one or two people? I wasn't expecting him to say 'yes' or 'no', honestly I don't know what I expected there but what I do know is that I believed he wouldn't handle it like this. So, you heard about him buying something(?) for a fan and spammed him about a laptop. That just comes across as greedy and rude. "YOU BOUGHT THAT GUY SOMETHING. GIMME. GIMME. GIMME. GIMME."
Keemstar and a large portion of his audience have a reputation for making fun of weak people. so I am not surprised at all. The best you can do is to ignore and block. Otherwise you may break down like his previous victims.

I suppose so, regardless I just thought I'd share this as this was a wrong way of handling something like this. Handling situations like this shouldn't be done so explicitly especially with a big audience as I have seen YouTubers do this and all it leads to is a hate train sent to the person they're targeting.Look on the bright side, at least he hasn't incorrectly outed you as a peadophile or something life-ruining.
If you do something nice and generous and see (presumably) tonnes of people ask for handouts, you don't see people in need, you see a horde of freeloaders.
If I'm being honest, I don't think Keemstar has done much wrong here. I don't like the guy, I think he behaves like a child half the time and I agree he could have broken it to you a better way. However.. He has no obligation to get you anything. I understand that your underage and can't purchase yourself a laptop and equipment however this isn't his problem. I work a full time job to pay rent etc and then save for equipment. Its sadly a big part of youtube, when you are small you have to scrimp and save and do the best with what you have, if you grow you can then upgrade your gear. I wish your mum all the best with her recovery and hopefully you can keep making graphics and perhaps get the laptop you want, but don't hate on Keem.
