How do YOU guys promote your channel?

First of all you should try to promote your channel through popular forums and websites related to your theme. But you should act as if you've found someone's video that seemed fun/interesting and you decided to post it. You shouldnt say: Hey everyone, please watch my channel! it can cause some hate and anger and its less likely that they'll watch your video. But saying: Lol, this guy is awsome, i cant stop watching his vids! you will attract some traffic for sure. Using this technique i've increased my daily views from 200 to 1500 and thats was very nice back then!

Usually go with Facebook, Twitter, Google + and Reddit. There's a few places around you can get some promotion out but your best luck being the social network sites and being patient and unique on Youtube

That's a really great idea.
But usually I promote my music with the help of social network (facebook, instagram) and soundcloud.

Sure... If you really learn how to use it. There are a few guides around the forums that should help out a bit with that. Reddit can either be your best friend, or your worst enemy (So basically, Reddit can be considered a woman).

I've heard from people like its an enemy more then friends for them. I took a gander at reddit a couple times but never really got into it. Been to active here to try actually.
