Does an Intro to a vlog channel need any crazy special effects?

No lol she has a vlog channel but her main channel is probably at least 75% comedy. She's a YouTuber Comedian first and foremost. She does do vlogs on her main channel but not very often

Yup, that's probably what happened. It sucks when that type of thing happens. That's why I try to watch multiple videos on someone's channel before I completely dismiss it

I actually prefer my vlogs with no intro but that may be just me. A nice quick intro though doesn't hurt and can pull an audience in strongly

I never really liked intros playing before my videos, but a flashy intro could gain folks attention, just make sure its short

I don't think an intro necessarily has to have crazy effects. It really depends on the personaliy of your channel - sometimes simplicity is key (less is more haha)
