He has a new channel that was just run through Socialblade and it just started capturing data for the first time . Since Socialblade doesn't know what happened in the past it captured his lifetimes subs and views the first time it crawled and that is what you see for that first day. As for the high subs and low views, either he deleted videos, made some private or bought them.
Either way, I personally have found out that I enjoy YouTube more the less I care about what other channels and content creators are doing with their own channels.

I just checked your channel, you got 8,336 subscribers, but your vids average around 70ish views. :O thats fishy

Average is 3,742 views per video (but dropping each new video). My other channel is a around 10k per last I looked. Could be better, could be worse
It was higher but once I switched themes going from playing MMORPGs with commentary to mobile games without commentary along with not posting consistently I alienated most of my initial viewer base thus the low view count the last few months
