You opened my eyes to a new perspective, something many few people experience which is fame. The bigger you get in any business, the more vulnerable you are to get the good and the bad. This is why I love this platform, it's a great way to support each other especially when it's clear you're great parents just doing what we do normally with small kids which is entertain them (constantly lol). Ever since the Youtube kids app came out - the kid channels BOOMED and people/companies wanted to be apart of it. Kids like Ryan and Derrick that watch these videos and ask to play in one too because it looks so fun, we say okay let's try it! For you hard work paid off which a simple idea then turned into something huge - people and marketing companies can only dream of. What you created was something small into something big and really successful. That's dedication, hard work and inspiring to even the Grinch!
I have noticed popular channels are of adults behind the camera filming which is a great way to avoid negative feedback and keep privacy. Sometimes I film my yard or porch and I wonder if it's a good idea to do, exposing my
home and being so public.. Have you considered disabling comments? I see it being done mostly on kids channels which eliminates reading hate comments besides the viewers enjoying the videos (kids) are not going to rate or comment how much they love your channel giving feedback you really deserve. Just the other day I read a On Facebook a post why surprise eggs were so popular. In comments your channel was mentioned quite a few times and yes there were hate comments like you mentioned but MOST were admired what an awesome childhood you give Ryan. How parents are in different rooms and hear multiple times Ryan's little voice saying Welcome to Ryan Toys Review LOL! I hear him everyday too because kids love him and watching your family have fun together as parents like myself know you're happiness together is authentic. That's the emotional connection viewers attach to and the gold secret to success SEO can't replicate. I get the impression you are still humble given your status, which in turn gains a loyal fan base and earns people's respect.
Perhaps use your platform to educate the negative for example creating a video teaching Ryan and viewers the importance of donating toys etc. this teaches kids positive behavior and educates the judgemental people the good you do behind the scenes.
Parents being concerned makes a lot of sense but honestly I would never contact you or any creator about it just to make you feel bad. If someone is concerned about a topic then swipe to the next video, that's all. You are creating something new outside the box for kids to enjoy because kids have the wildest imagination! I haven't watched many bad baby videos yet but I can understand why they are popular, it's catchy and funny for kids since lets face it kids love "bad" things along with poop, vomit, gross stuff etc. lol gotta love them!
Wherever this new journey in creating a new channel takes you, absolutely people will follow. The bad - the very few that wished to live your life but most importantly the good- loyal fans - families that love your family and watch you everyday. For every hate comment is a thousand positive ones. I enjoy your normal life because it's what most of us moms can relate to with kids. We just try our best to give them the best childhood and filming it is a great way to keep those memories for a lifetime. Bonus is making this a career to be able to provide financially and create awesome videos for the world to enjoy. I vote for a "YouTube" moms group! Honestly, I have limited socializing with adults lol and supporting each other is what we all need to succeed
