I do it because I see YouTube as the best media outlet in the world. In the digital world that we live in now, I won't be surprised if every household ends up having a casual 'youtuber' in the next 10 years. YouTube itself is the answer to freedom of expression and thought and everything, and then you have a bunch of people to clap at the end of the video haha

I Youtube because youtube is a platform where I am credited for my work and where I can share anything I feel is special to me to the whole world. But most importantly , I want to reach out to people and make them smile or just feel good. And well , its damn fun.

I started making video's of what I was creating in a game I play so that I could show others in hope of inspiring them to think outside the box when creating and for fun ofcourse.
I don't currently use a camera with my video's mainly because my area is not setup the way I want and the camera shy thing is a big part.

I am still figuring things out and all the good stuff will come in time.

Have a good one

i used to run a channel on youtube a few years back i used to be camera shy but ive made so many videos from doing that old channel im really comfortable in front of cameras. i made a new channel recently and most people say it doesnt seem like im new to youtube because im not technically lol. I started an advice channel because i love hearing other peoples situations and giving them my take on things!

I do it because when I spend time thinking about a idea and transfering it to a film medium and then taking the time to mold it into something I am proud of is the best feeling in the world.

I guess one reason is that I got to a point in my life where I felt like I wasn't going very far in anything. I have no real hobbies or talent, I was over my job when I was hairdressing.. I do retail now but I just felt like there has to be so much more.
I'm subscribed to a few makeup gurus like shaaanxo, Jeffree star, chrisspy etc. so I decided to take some inspiration from them and start making my own videos.
I have to admit I'm not the best at makeup, I'm not really a flawless beautiful girl - I got bullied a lot at school and that really messed with my confidence and self esteem, so I didn't really know if it was going to work out or not. But hey, you got to at least try right?!
So yes, the first time talking to the camera was abit awkward at first, but one thing I was good at was public speaking. So after a few go's I got into it abit more and just went from there.
So yes, I have uploaded videos with my fails in them too, and one thing I have learnt about myself is that I do have quite the potty mouth on me but I left all of it in there, as I want people to see that this is the real me.
So I'm still new and I have a long way to go, but I'm so overwhelmed of the amount of wonderful feedback I have been given and made some new YouTube friends.
I'm currently uploading once a week, but then will eventually move on to 2 videos a week. I'm also looking into doing an online makeup course too so I can upgrade on my skills.
But one thing YouTube has given me is the excuse to keep buying makeup for my videos hahahaha
