I originally started watching pranks and vlogs last year (Adrian Vlogs, MoreJStu) and began to want to do it myself. My mate had been doing a channel with his cousin before, so we decided to start one. Now, I keep doing because I don't want to let people down plus it helps me with my self-esteem and I can also keep a record of things that I have done through vlogging.

I do it as a hobby because I have a regular job but I still take it seriously because I want my audience to grow

I used to hate my voice whenever I hear it I go mad please turn it off x_x
When I make videos I enjoy it I feel free to express the deep crazy part of me hahaha
And now I don't mind hearing my voice anymore :p
Sometimes I wonder why even bothered and make my channel hehehe :v :v

I was looking around the forums and realized that there are so many people on here with a motivation to create videos. I'm curious what or who inspired you to create videos on Youtube? For myself I've been playing video games since I'm 3 years old & found playing with family and friends to be more entertaining than playing by myself. I was watching one of Markiplier's subscriber milestone videos in which he said to follow your dream and to take chances. 6 months later, here I am creating content for people to enjoy (hopefully).

I first made videos (Like on the first version of YouTube) because I always wanted to be famous...

After not becoming famous, I actually started working on scheduling and making content that was funny and entertaining...

I recently took a break from making videos but now I'm back and my inspiration is spreading positivity! :)

Biggest inspiration was AVGN way back in 2006 for me.

It got me into older games a lot more than I already was back then.

My biggest inspiration to be a YouTuber was to be able to create a family history my kids can look back at one day. The more I've watched vlogs, the more I wanted to vlog too. For the last 2 months, we've really started taking it serious and seen some great growth. It's been fun to become part of a community and make lots of new friends in the process.

I enjoy the thought of creating some sort of legacy, or even just some videos that my wife & I can go back and laugh at, which we do often! :) I'd been writing goofy songs for something like 15 years, and just had files and files of random lyrics and chords and stuff hanging out on the computer, doing absolutely no good. On a whim, I decided to learn how to mix songs and edit videos, and bam... perfect creative outlet. I make videos to amuse myself, and I'm just happy that a few other people seem to enjoy them too!

I started YouTube because I saw the impact so many people were having on others. I faced depression and other issues as well for years, and now that I'm feeling a lot better about myself and about life, I want to use my experiences to help other people. Even if I can make just one person laugh and feel better, then I know I have succeeded in what I do, and it's all worth it.
