RPM's new partner requirements

Is there an official announcement for this or did someone just find out they got accepted while not meeting the previous requirements?
There have been people e-mailing the support asking about it and they have said things like ''We now essentially allow people with zero views'' and on a Youtube video they have written ''Yeah you are right (to Dananuh, one of the people here at Yttalk) but we encourage people to read their contracts before they sign''.

Also it's visually clear because all over the youtube videos there are now people yelling out ''I GOT ACCEPTED OMG THXTHXTHX'' then you go onto their channel and often it's a channel with 5 subscribers, 120 or something views and videos that can range from being 2 years old with no new content at all or just really bad ones. Ones which have botted views and subscribers are also very visible. But yeah I mean, if 0 views is the requirement then nothing is what they haven't mentioned...

Ah okay thanks.

It's actually quite sad how they did this. RPM was a great network that is now going to have crap partner support and even more channels thinking they're amazing for getting partnered. It's awesomenesstv all over again :(

AwesomenessTV partnered a channel that was just created, lol.

Anyway, glad I didn't rush to sign the RPM contract I got 2 months ago - phew, paranoia pays off after all XD

everyone he sighns it is atleast 18 so if there going for a 50/50 split for 2 years then its there own fault really like, should read the contract

Alright, so I have received this email from RPM telling me that I've met the so called "requirements" to join them. Now, I'm not in it for the money, I couldn't really care less about that. I just want to know, that if i accepted, would it help boost views/traffic?

Depends on the content. Crap quality content will stay crap, even when partnered. So, no, I don't think being partnered will give you more views/traffic. Making your content better or maintaining the quality if it's already good will.

Alright, thanks for that. After reading what everyone has said, I don't think it would be wise for a growing channel to partner with them

So, I just read this on RPM's twitter: ''There are different contracts now being offered depending on the channel!'' as an answer to people wondering about 50/50 and someone getting 60/40 still.

Apparently people are handed different contracts right when applying? My guess is that a bot enters your channel, checks your stats and from that makes the contract either 50/50 or 60/40. So for those of you who wish to join RPM and now get a 50/50 and 2 year contract when applying... I would suggest that you wait for a while until your channel qualifies for the 60/40 if my theory is correct.
