RPM's new partner requirements

well i just got a email from RPM saying that they lower their requirement of views at 0 views per month  to help creator all over the world -_-. and if you got denied before, feel free to apply again because you're going to be accept it --__--

this is good for channels who just wants to have music in their videos and the features and tools the network offer, but for serious creators who wants a career in youtube this will hurt their channel, they better wait and grow their channel.

I guess I just got in before the change. 60/40 1yr was my split. I don't mind being with RPM, haven't "officially" signed on as YouTube hasn't sent over the information yet but at least if I'm part of a network I know I hold a better chance. Not on making it big or cashing in on the big money, heck you can't tell the difference between a partner and non-partner now (which is sad), I'm there for the connections and growth.

It doesn't mean that you got in before the change it means that your channel is doing well enough to be given the 60/40 1 year contract. And what do you mean with ''officially'' signed? If you applied you have already signed the contract and you cannot switch to another network unless you somehow terminate the contract before the end of 1 year's time.

Haha, well then that makes sense. I just noticed this thread started last Friday so I was guessing there was a change. By "officially" I mean that I'm pending in their financial department and I don't have access to their partner network. Still waiting on YouTube to release my content to RPM before all that can happen. Once that happens, then I can "officially" share the news. :p

Ah! That makes sense! Yeah it took some business days for my link to arrive. I woke up on a morning though the other day and then they had sent my information mail from RPM and Youtube had sent an invitation link from RPM at which point I had to click the link and send a confirmation email back to RPM. I am now awaiting monetization of my videos and a ''welcome package''. I would assume that the package contains help with getting onto their sound and music library etc.
