PewDiePie kicked off from Disney/Maker Studios

I already knew that this is going to happen, and it happened, I hope Pewdiepie would limit himself a little and learn some lesson.

PDP is the biggest-most influential YouTuber and it's his responsibility to set a good example on the platform...even if he doesn't want that responsibility. His largest demographic are impressionable children and teenagers...he should know better. There are certain things you just don't joke about. Period. Thirsty Racists and Bigots all over the world are praising this fool's name right now. Even if his intentions weren't intended to be malicious, his jokes became an enabler to hate by hateful individuals. The people who are defending him, fail to see and understand this.

While I understand that Disney needs to keep their reputation I think its unfair that he is judged for being anti-semitice. If you look at South Park or Family Guy, they make jokes that are far more worse then what he did. If you don't like those kind of jokes, fine, but don't call him racist for it.

I agree 100% - the articles that demonize him are taking the entire thing out of context. While sure, it is an edgy joke, he had hired those guys, as a joke, to put words in Keemstar's mouth - who IS notoriously offensive in his messages. This would be akin, to say, taking the one scene from the Office where Michael Scott makes the racist joke - ONLY showing that, without putting any circumstance around it - and then declaring that the entire TV show is inherently racist. Seems to be a case of media sensationalism, imho

Jokes aside, I'm surprised Disney even took him on board to begin with/QUOTE]

Maker studios was bought by Disney and every creator under Maker Studios end up being part of Disney :) I was with Maker when that changed happened.

But yeah, pewdiepie is the biggest channel on youtube and news about him appeared everywhere from fake to real. He made joke around and be sarcastic about all the things he does and all that but he has forgotten that most of his audience are kids range from age 13 - 18. And yeah they might have grow up with him and all that but there is a limit to things. What you consider funny might not be funny for others, also Nazis are always been something controversial since it happened so it might had offended a lot of people and made him look bad even if your'e joking and being sarcastic about it, and being the biggest youtuber it made him look really bad since once again not everyone will like your joke and Disney being a company who is associated with kids, looks bad with having someone like him there so it was bound to happen. He has enough to move on, but he should plan his videos and what he talks about better, he needs to study a bit more on his audience and think about what he is going to talk about before well talking about it.

Like that does matter to him now, the guy was making 15 million dollars a year from YT and that was NOT including his endorsements from other companies, he could retire now and still be able to live a rich life.
