It's a blanket purge of anything remotely not 100% safe - what they consider safe, which may be different to what a reasonable person, or you and I, consider fine..
Think of a bulldozer mowing down trees, not a woodpecker carefully chiselling away.
We are all under the path of this bulldozer. It's just starting. they are working progressively through channels. We've had 2 videos hit on our 85k channel, it was an issue with "bad baby" tags again.
If you have a bottle of Stolichnaya somewhere in a cupboard, time to go find a glass and make some ice cubes.
 
Yep, both my channels are 90% demonetized now, only a few videos still standing and quite a few under review but have little hope they survive. My new video from today however is still monetized however, I tried to make the TTD as generic as possible before releasing it so that might work.

As I have a channel in a similar niche and I`m pretty nervous it might be hit by this sh*tstorm :/
 
I received an email stating on 4 of my videos that they ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR MOST ADVERTISERS AFTER MANUAL REVIEW.. WHAT?? One of them is my sons Spiderman Bday party.. the other one is running our channel right now... Ugh.. After actually checking my whole channel is now almost all yellow.. and several have been confirmed as not suitable..

But seriously, sorry to hear that, I know how hard you work on your channel.

It's a complete massacre. Many of our completely safe videos filmed with our baby have been hit. I'm talking about completely utterly baby safe nothing but songs and ball pit balls and colors.

It's like they took an AK-47 and spraying bullets at every kids channel. Beat everyone into submission.

There will not be any outcry about this.

When it hits other verticals (I won't name which) then there will be a huge outcry of "unfair" "why us"[DOUBLEPOST=1511064483,1511064000][/DOUBLEPOST]

I just had another look, you've got "bad kids" etc words all over. That's why you've been hit. No point changing it now to prevent hits, I think they locked in changes - ie changes now to t/t/d have no effect, unless you can appeal. But it may be worthwhile to remove all references to "bad baby" and anything Toy Freaks tags associated, including all words such as "steal" "attack" etc to make the channel safe going forward and in the very slim chance they realize they over-reached and rescan all the videos again. They did this a few times with demonetization, this may be similar.

Anyways, that's what i'm doing now...

Wow, this is crazy. Wasn't aware how bad it was. So sorry to hear all you guys getting hit like this. Wonder if the pendulum will swing back and some of your demonetized videos will eventually get remonetized. Here's hoping that's the case for you all.
 
Let's get a list going of tags blocked to advertisers on kids channels:

Procedure
--------------

Turn off adblockers
Take your PC, laptop, Commodore 64, smartphone, ipad, Tandy TRS, whatever
Clear the cobwebs where applicable and clear your browsers
Logout of all google accounts
Go to your favorite (or most hated) kids channel
Run their videos, see if ads run
Compare which keywords, tags, titles ads run on and which they don't
Take into account that ads are served in sequence, then there's a pause (so you don't get too p****d off) then they restart, so you have to reload a few times sometimes

Report back here!!!
