YouTube in smaller countries?

Don't let them drag you down, you're unique just from the country you're from as one of the fellas said on this thread earlier, maybe people will have interest in what your accent is like and what you will tell them about Latvia.
I'm from Croatia, I don't really any difficulties with speaking english as I know it like it's my native language (even better then Croatian I could say, lol)
This is YouTube, the main thing is to have fun! Enjoy it.

YES, I know of a small YouTube community of vloggers and beauty gurus who are deemed popular here, but they mostly just talk to each other. But at least we have this forum and other sites we can engage with people

Yes, I believe that a lot, I wouldnt be happy with just a lot of people that dont really enjoy my stuff and rather fewer, that really do and engage with me in discussion. But I guess most people here wouldn't like my type of content, as far as I've noticed. I dont know, I guess we'll see in time

Well, I make story type of videos or voice my thoughts with pictures I drew myself to accommodate the script. Lately I've been really trying to get into animation though

I'm from neighbour country - Lithuania, and i know what you mean when you say none around you could do collabs or has any interest in youtube creator activities. Don't get it to you, keep working, your videos are awesome, your English is great! And as others said don't feel bad about trying to do content in your own language, it might even help to boost things up!

YouTubers from smaller countries I feel like have disadvantage due to some communication difficulties. Your video and audio could be on point but if I can;t understand or make out what your saying all those good factors could be diminished.

It's not always a disadvantage as some actually have very good english but I can see it being a struggle for them unless they improve.

I would say Ireland is a relatively small country despite our world known culture. Some people luckily find my accent pretty attractive

Im also from a small country (Switzerland). I finally decided to make a Youtube channel in english, containing some lets play videos... My friends are sceptical about the idea. I hear things like "comenting while playing is hard enough, why do you make it even harder with speaking english?" and "you never will get some views when you are not able to speak fluently".. That are the same friends I talked with how cool it would be to have a youtube channel, but they always were afraid trying to actually creating one.

Of course it is more challanging to make the videos in english, but the easiest was isn't always the best... Right now im still struggeling with my english, but thats ok. I think I will never improve if I dont practice. An theres no better way to practice my english while having fun making videos

Now that's the spirit everyone should have And yes, my friends as well at first were pretty skeptical about the whole YouTube thing, that it wasn't possible to get far with someone being foreign. I guess in a way I want to show people that it is possible for anyone to make content, if they work hard enough for it
