The best workaround with facebook ads is to upload your presentation on facebook and push this video (don't forget to put up a link to your channel in the post. With clear call to action)
I have done a test last year, and upload my best compilation video (gaming channel) the video was short, funny and fast pace, put up a budget of 100€ for 7 days.
The post says (because I'm french)
If you laughed during this video, share it
See you on youtube for even more videos :

The thumbnail is silly and the video quite funny.
1 million people were reached, 400K videos views... Keep in mind that views on facebook doesn't quite work like youtube. A view is count after 3 seconds AND there is the autoplay feature.
2.5k like, 300 comments (each comments were a mention of friends) and 200 share.
The good point was on my youtube channel, 4 days after the ads launched, I was getting 600 subs a days (decreasing progressively to 300 subs 2 days later).
To be honest the process is easy but may be expensive. I could afford it, as the channel revenue is re-use for the channel itself.
The ad works if the videos is really good (well at least by your public standard).
According to the numbers, facebook ads seems effective, I couldn't recommand it though. You have to make a really great videos otherwise you will spending money into the void !
