Thanks! I have asked a few of my friends what they think about my thumbnails and they think they look great, but since they are my friends, I have no idea if they may be just a little biased. I am implementing something new to my thumbnails every now and then, but so far what does everyone think? This is one of my most recent thumbnails. I would love to get some unbiased constructive criticism and see if there is anything I can improve on. Thanks everyone!Batman Arkham Knight Part 9.jpg Batman Arkham Knight Part 9.jpg

They are very basic, which doesn't translate into bad by any means but at the same time they do not draw attention. I like how the numbers follow the art style of the games but one thing I notice is that you make the numbers way bigger than they need to be. Since you are doing a playthrough you want the image of the game to draw the viewer towards your video but you have the opposite where your logo and the numbering are the things drawing attention. My recommendation is reduce the size of the numbers, reduce or completely, remove your logo (you are doing lets plays thumbnails which don't really lend themselves to theft since they are quite basic in nature) and choose larger images that pop out to viewers a bit more to grab attention. You could also instead create a thumbnail template similar to Zero Punctuation but rework it for your logo and a lets play style if you would prefer to keep your logo in your thumbnails.

Thank you! I am just using the logo as a placeholder for now, eventually I will be getting a webcam and when I start to add my face to the let's plays, I will add my face to it in some way shape or form. Thank you for the feedback!

By logo I thought you meant my little guy in the corner not the actual game logo haha but yea I understand what you're getting at.

Id say go with more color! i realized its batman, but i always think its good to use more colors that pop, like yellow and stuff.. even if its just something small, liek the #9 being yellow or white.
The thumbnails i personally like are more like

Thank you! I have been adding more color here and there through editing. I will eventually find a good niche. Thank you for the comment!
