Some people just don't have the personality for YT!

Well, with fame comes the money, maybe not for LP'ers, but Vloggers and skit makers have a big chance of going into other things after getting big on YouTube.
Hmmmm, good points :)

Its almost a shame I live in the middle of the countryside, I wish I could have something interesting to vlog about, could be quite good fun. At the moment it would just be me smiling that its so quiet and peaceful where I live :)

Yes and no. I don't think there is anyone who truly has NOTHING to offer youtube. But I do think there are people who won't be realistic about what they actually offer youtube. Not everyone is a star, not everyone is going to get a huge return on an audience. But some people provide things no one else can, and will be able to relate to a type of audience no one else can. This audience may grow slowly and never be very large, but to the ones who do subscribe and like it, it will be special to them to be a part of something no one knows about.

As far as let's plays go, I get the feeling many people do let's plays cause they just think it's so easy and they'll do it amazingly when in reality they're quite boring and mundane. Those people are probably not doing what they are actually good at on youtube. But I think there is something ANYONE with the desire to vlog can do and be good at, even if it's as simple as "you have the same paranoia's and fears about life other people do you're just not afraid to talk about it" or things of that nature.
I wasn't trying to target a certain group of people but they all were LP'ers. When I see a channel with content nobody has done before I have so much respect for them but when I see a vlogger or Lp'er with no personality I am automatically turned off because there is no appeal :(

Perhaps try the type of videos I make, I live in the country side too :)

There is a whole plethora of LP'ers who give off this vibe like "hey... I'm playing another game... who cares... let's get this over with" and yes, that is just... shameful LOL

Vlog about cow activity :P Only kidding :)

There is no right or wrong personality for YouTube.

I think that those who don't get an audience and views and so on don't put in any effort like getting involved in the YouTube community, those who don't share their videos on social networks, those who use poor tags and poor titles, descriptions and anything else that stumps your growth on YouTube.

I 100% agree with this, I personally think LP's are the thing for me because I've had a strong connection with gaming since I was even 4/5, so its part of my life and something I enjoy and get really enthusiastic with, but for someone else it may just be something to do from time to time, and they can't get into the hard work required.
Or it's a business decision. Two dudes going "Hey!! Look at this channel! All he does is play games and he's making a LIVING off youtube! Crap man! We can do that!!!" Kinda just... makes you cringe to think that's why some people do it doesn't it?

Its a shame when you see people starting purely for money, because they will expect to get super bucks quick, and when they don't they'll blame everyone else for not seeing how "good" they are, and even if they are good, having the right attitude is half the battle tbh, if you aren't doing it cause you are having fun, even if you did make a living from it, it would be like working in a 9-5 office job, you'd just have no motivation to do anything good.

Im sorry but I totally disagree, You wouldnt wanna watch a video with somebody with absolutley no energy or interesting jokes would you?

This is what I feel has happened to Toby Turner. I can't speak for his main channel, but I just don't think he's even trying on his vlog channel anymore. To me it feels like he's gotten to this place of just going "Whatever, time to turn on the camera and be super cute and say a bunch of stupid stuff for some cash again..."
