If you have the ability to make good videos on a daily basis and keep up that schedule for many, many months, then yes, go for it. However, most people I know can't do that (I certainly couldn't), and it would tend to burn a lot of people out really quickly.

I always say to make videos on a schedule where you can be assured to make something of high quality, but that doesn't require so much work that there's more than a week between videos. A couple times a week is ideal for me (I have been making 3 videos per week for over a year, and I've just added a fourth regular series) and that's been an aggressive schedule for me, but I'm happy with it.

As a regular viewer of many channels, I find with the daily uploaders I flick through the content. They will get a 'view' from me but actual watch time will be low. If the same creators uploaded weekly, I would definitely watch the videos in full. Whats better for the creator in the long run?

Well the schedule is also correlated to the type of content you create: for example animation channels need a lot of time for each animation to be completed and stick to something like 1 per week, but those videos are pretty successful. For LP and gaming channels it's possible to follow a daily schedule, always depending on the type of editing you are used to.

Using myself as an example since some months I decided to stick to a daily schedule because, even if I could keep the 5 vids/week schedule, I wouldn't benefit in any way from that type of schedule and I decided to go up to 1 per day. A lot of people will say that with too many videos you can overload yourself and your subs and that's partially true. I honestly don't understand all the small channels who upload 3 vids per day because THAT is way too much in every sense, but 1/day is doable if you have the time for it.

You should try to experiment and seeing what schedule suits you the best!

it depends of your content if it's just entertainment so people they will love it, for me I start upload daily

Straight from our Yt account manager: "our top creators all say consistent and frequent uploads have been key to their growth"
You can take that as gospel.

It really depends on what niche you have, if you have vlog and your viewers asked for it then I would upload everyday but if you are not vlogging or whatever I think, uploading everyday is not a good idea. Really depends on each channel.

I saw this one YouTuber who has over 5,000 subscribers, and just started in March. He uploads once a week.

5,000 and he just started in March? That's kicking me down lol but seriously. It's better to upload everyday i personally don't but that's probably hurting me to be honest. I do videos every week day and that seems to have worked expect for the slow growth.

Yes I upload multiple times a day and its better for the growth of my channel. It seems to be exploding with video views

*Update

It would seem that I've found out the answer. I believe that uploading daily will not equal channel growth.

I have reduced my vids to mon, wed, and fri just last week, and I have gained much more views than just daily uploading. And that was just one week of trying it out. But I've seen people comment on my channel, more than what I have ever gotten in a week. Now granted, I started commenting on a lot of videos, so if you guys want a tip, I'll say:

Start commenting on a lot of videos. No spam of course, but just comment on the videos that you watch, I think that helped get me some views and likes on my video in just this past week.

If I want to upload more than three times a week, I'll just upload two vids on either one of the days that I upload, which I plan on doing when I get a bigger fan base, and more video ideas

I believe just three videos a week for me is best, considering the content I make; and it seems to be working out great. Thanks for the help though guys, but I've found the answer. :)

It's up to you but I would don't reccomended it because you subs might unsub if that happens
