Reason You're Not Getting Views?

Remember everyone starts somewhere and the first days, months and even years will be slow since there are so many videos uploaded all the time that it is hard to gain a lot. When I first started I barely got 10 views on my videos and then 2 years later I am getting somewhere :) So it takes time and patience it might be depressing not seeing the numbers grow but never lose hope ^_^
Ya, I know...I'm actually kind of worried because gaming channels are taking over youtube not by years or months but by days....So the competitions actually quite high...so that's why I have to keep it up and make better content and make my videos special....Thanks btw

Oh really, it's weird because I have under 500 subs but I can make my own custom url....and someone said that the link is working fine, when I checked the "channel" box , the link did not work at all...[DOUBLEPOST=1444835018,1444834766][/DOUBLEPOST]
Is it working now?

Yup!

Hey guys, many of us are struggling on Youtube even though it's our interest...
Some of us may have overcome this " not getting views " situation.
But most of the new youtubers haven't ( including me ).
For my case, I've used SEO ( not sure if I used it correctly ), put decent tags, annotized it, promoted on social media (without spamming), interacting with others on forums and communities.
And all I got was just a few views. After one night, then the views stop coming.
Of course I know that I may seem greedy, but the reason I posted this on the forum is to help others with the same problem that I have.
If you have any suggestions, comments or feedbacks.
Feel free to let us know and we will appreciate it.
Thanks, and Peace ^^
Advice number one: make your posts more readable
Advice number two: make your titles&thumbnails more appealing.
Also make sure that the platforms you're sharing your videos on are worth it.

Possible reasons for getting only few views:
1) Nobody saw your videos
2) People weren't encouraged to watch them
3) You're expecting too much

Well, I've did PR in most of the forums and social media, and promoted many videos as well.
I know that everyone has different tastes, that's why I'm making videos that people would like to watch and laugh about.
I don't expect much actually, but I'm planning to be a youtuber very long though....
Well, any other ways to let people notice or watch my videos? Or at least encourage people to watch them?[DOUBLEPOST=1445676717,1445676544][/DOUBLEPOST]
It,s all about content. I don,t understand why putting up poor content often is good.
good content is one way, but I think interest is another...
You see, gaming channel VS cats channel. There's a huge difference, the views that cat channels gets are way more than gaming channel. And their videos are without editing, effects and does not even look nice at all, but still they get the watch time and views because of cats.....
I think it's the interest that viewers have, but not many of us happen to like making cat videos....
