So i averaged out 10% of my videos have been claimed by third party. The other 90% are monetized without third party claim.

Which is what you've already said and still tells us nothing. If those 10% of your videos are receiving 90% of your views, problem solved.

My video lengths are between 3 - 4 minutes long.

A 25-33% audience retention rate will hurt your as far as what ads and how often they're shown.

Shakycow i'm sure you'll have an understanding that I have avoided linking it the url from the sticky beaks that have no interest in contributing in this forum. Secondly and most importantly my statistics explain everything. So there's nothing my channel link can provide that analytics can't do better.

Except I don't. At all.
The vast majority of people here are looking to help others, share their interests, and find new channels to enjoy. Those who aren't tend to be dealt with fairly swiftly.

Hiding in anonymity shows both a lack of trust and respect to those of this community and begs the questions of what are you afraid of and hiding from? A quick glance and you'll see that the bulk of people on here are proud to display and advertise their channels and statistics.... regardless of their size.

As for your analytics explaining everything, that's not even close to being true. Titles, descriptions, tags, comments, likes and tell just as much, if not a bigger part of the story, than inside analytics can.

I'm posting piano tutorials.
I knew with my piano tutorials i would have to share earnings with third party recognized material, despite being all my content not all videos have been recognised as third party. A fellow youtuber who also does piano tutorials is earning quite a difference to me - estimating for a million views i should have hit around $1,000 from his experience.
Yesterday I wrote an article about views vs monetized views. Please go to this forum section's front page, find and read that. You seem to be partially labouring under the mistaken impression that view numbers should automatically equate to cash. Only certain views will be monetized, and you are not getting any rev share for those third party claimed videos at all. All monies from those are going to the claimants.

Do the math, and find out what percentage of the views you have are from the third party claimed videos; I think others here have already hinted that if the majority of your views are coming from those, that may be the problem. I also agree that no full analysis of the problem can be done if we cannot see your channel; what is a "sticky beak" in the first place?

Hey guys,

I'm hoping you guys have smart ideas that can help.
I started my piano tutorial channel 5 months ago, It picked up momentum very quickly and views has grown in high numbers. Earnings however has been stagnant throughout.

Some Stats
15k - 20k with the average daily earnings of .70c USD.
Over 4,000 subscribers and growing 50+ per day.
85% of traffic is locally searched through youtube
96% Thumbs up
10% of my monetized Videos are copyright shared with the labels and publishers.
9% of my views are monetized playbacks (obviously this is a concern)

After the countless hours i put into my channel i'm highly motivated to recieve what will be my first payout, (currently sitting at $65 USD), hoping with your guys brains someone can figure this one out

Thank you,
Appreciate all helpful advice
NOOOO that's terrible, sorry :-( You should be making more money! Start hustling, use famebit or partner with other companies that can help you. That sucks, now I'll be lucky if I make 5 cents :-/

I would actually suggest getting a patreon account since you seem to be getting enough traffic. then you could offer your patreon member exclusive lessons or something.

As for people who are sharing their statistics, please read the Adsense policy. I strongly recommend to blur out the $$. I have seen people being removed from Adsense by sharing how much they earn.

@WillYoutuber what is your channel?

First my respond on @Maevi : A small majority (but growing) are using Ad-Blocking plugins, today with the Firefox update 42.0 it's becoming default. I have no respect for people who are using it because they won't want to think further than today. If everyone is using some kind of Ad Block Yttalk, Me, @WillYoutuber and all the people stop earning money. Finally, the internet have to charge people for accessing sites.... money must come from somewhere and you will not like it!

I have talked with Adsense about this, this is the responds they gave to me:
Overall, we believe that ads help fund free services and content on the web. Ad blocking is a symptom of bad consumer experiences online. But conscientious publishers and advertisers are harmed by ad blockers that do not discriminate between consumer friendly advertising experiences and the improper practices of other players. For our part, we’re continuing to invest in ads experiences that are relevant and useful for users, ensuring that users have choice over their ads experiences online, and helping publishers continue to fund their content.

Now back to @WillYoutuber,
Music Niche is not really an expensive category to advertise with. You feel that in your wallet. Have you ever did keyword research? Because your statistics are good.
If you have a lot of traffic from non-US, UK, Canada or Australia countries your earnings are poor, $Keyword$ x Country x Views = $
Another factor that plays a role are short videos, last month i had a video that reached over 700.000 views in 3 weeks that generated over a lousy $150. Because it was a short video of 2.3min. and the keyword was cheap, while the traffic location was perfect. I did a part two few days after, a video of 12min. where i can add more advertisements, that generated over $1700 in 2 weeks time (I saw this coming, so i promoted the second video in the popular video).

Now, another factor what is important is the total amount of videos you have. With other words, i need to examine your entire channel.

Contact me @WillYoutuber, if you need help. So i can take a look at your channel and see if we can improve your current revenue(I bet we can). I love to help people out.

How is keyword research? Could you explain it?
