I agree with this to an extent. Another way of seeing hate comments is that you are popular enough to evoke strong emotions in people, without doing anything to them. It's really sad how people are being mean towards those little boys but I recommend banning those people and taking it as a sign that you are getting more successful.
 
Thank you everyone! Good point KTR about the kids reading them. My son is just now 5 and can't read yet,but will soon and that is something to really consider. He is already having issues with thinking people don't like him and think that they make fun of him.. So yes.. need to take care of these now I believe..

Yes, I have seen other kid channels get hate comments.. really mean and disgusting ones too. I just don't understand people.. Yes, thick skin.. I need to grow some or something or I'll be throwing punches :)

I think when it comes to those it is just best to ignore them. If you look at larger channels they typically do not respond and their fans fight back for them. It usually will help your views go up from all the interaction of the comments. That being said. People can just be mean and nasty hiding behind their keyboard. So just stay positive and let it roll of your back.
 
Got to have cold in your veins. Be a professional hitman. Ninja assassin. I just click on the report button like a killer and move on with my life. Sometimes I'll pause to think "man this 8 year old is particularly vicious today" :):wink2::facepalm2::ninja2::biggrin:

In the flip side we've had viewers defend us in those comments. Lots of good kids out there. Wish I could reward them all.
 
Personally, I highly moderate my comment sections. I want healthy places for people to converse. I want people to come back and not have to deal with trolls, drama or ugliness.
 
Personally I think people will dislike and comment negative things no matter How good your content is.
I laugh because they giving me views and I can just remove their comments:dance:
Some people will post rude comments because they had a 'Bad day' or they don't like you or your content or they just trolling you.
The thing I hate about your situation is that they attacking your kids which is Unacceptable.
Hope you don't show your kids all the hate because it could make them think people don't like them.
 
Ay, man, to me negative comments don't really mean anything, I personally like them, (gives me a little laugh when I see a negative (silly) comment on one of my videos.) most of the time it is a small child posting them which kind of makes it funny. I would not let it get to you too hard, because at the end of the day it is just some random person out of the 7 billion who says something to a stranger online. Maybe it is just because I am thick skinned. No matter who you are there will always be "haters" even the big youtubers out there have them, but what I have noticed is with them they either don't care about the hate or make light out of it with "Reading mean comments" videos. I hope I helped your situation a little bit, and for a little more advise I would just try not to let it get to you. :)
 
Up until recently, I hadn't had many negative comments, which is surprising considering the topics of my videos can be controversial. I did a video recently that received a decent amount of attention. The majority of the comments were positive but there were a decent amount that were very negative. The negative ones were pretty negative, but I did expect it. Some people attacked my character just because their opinion differed from mine. I always wonder how people can be so rude to children though. I checked out your channel, and your boys are adorable! Since your channel's focus is your family, I would try using YouTube's filter feature. Maybe that will help some with the negativity.[DOUBLEPOST=1505959482,1505959368][/DOUBLEPOST]

Exactly! You can hate on my videos all you want as long as you give me that view. lol It's different when children are involved though. Some people have no class.
 
I get a lot of negative comments all the time. It seems that some people don't even need s reason, they just want to spew out filth. Makes you wonder how bad their life is. I feel sorry for them.

I decided a long time ago that I would ignore and delete all negative comments. I want my channel to stay positive. So, just delete the comments and ban the user and go on. Maybe pray for the person. Who knows how horrible their life is that causes them to be that way.
