YouTube Glitch
As many of you have heard there has been a very bad glitch on YouTube recently. People like KEEMSTAR, ComedyShortsGamer, and many others have been affected and have spoken out. If you don't know what it is, then it's a glitch when you upload you gradually lose subs at a steady rate. And then after losing subs at a steady rate you lose a couple hundreds subs within seconds. And then gradually lose subs again, that's why many creators are refraining to upload recently.

What are your thoughts on this and has it affected you?

YouTube Algorithm Change
Maybe some of you know about this, but a couple weeks ago I was told about a rumor of an algorithm change. It turns out to be true and people who took advantage of the system are now decreasing in views at an alarming rate. Also people who got a lot of their views off recommended videos are losing a lot of views too. FuturisticHub was the first to say this and recently Jesse Wellens (PrankvsPrank and BFVSGF) has recently confirmed this with the person that writes the algorithm for YouTube.

What are your thoughts?
Well I lose subs every time I gain them. I've early 4 subs the other day and lost one. Etc
It sucks but I'm trying to work past it. Been a small channel 1 sub is a lot to lose lol

I dunno if anyone else has noticed this, but the sub counts seem to be going in batches now? When I lose subs, it's 5 or 6 at a time, and when I gain subs it's 7 or 8 in one go.

I get that, just with views instead of subs. -10 +5 -3 + 8 -1 + 10 like god damn. Make up your mind YouTube... am I getting watched or not.

I've noticed this with subscribers but like 2-3 at a time, not as much with views. Figures it changes when I start developing content :D

Must be because I'm so small that I'm not affected, but I've been increasing in both views and subs lately.

That's what I've been noticing too, I've noticed i'll lose 3 subscribers randomly, obviously it's normal to lose a sub every so often but to go a while and suddenly drop 3 at a time, something's definitely not right there

We lose subscribers almost always if we upload new and atypical for our channel video. But this is to be expected after all. We can not please everybody who subscribed to our channel and this is not our goal anyway.

So yesterday my time a lot of the bigger YouTubers had a frenzy, it seems the new algorithm favors the amount of likes/comments a video gets basically promoting begging for likes and giveaways that add nothing of value just to pimp yourself out. Making it even harder for the new guys if they don't get lucky with a viral explosion from reddit's community. Some were threatening with a Twitch Switch (basically moving platforms or threatening to do so to try and get YouTube to be honest about their changes)

h3h3 also did a video about how the mass majority of trending videos now are paid promotions IE a video that gets 50k views in 20 hours being #1 and is an advertisement... which is sad, not like YouTube is short on money considering they get what 30-40% of all revenue automatically.

Pewdiepie also jokingly threatened to delete his channel at 50mil subscribers, due to the fact that YouTube has been continuously deleting his subs to keep him from that milestone, lol.
