[locked] YouTube Glitch & Algorithm Change

I suspect there was an algorithm change recently. :eek: I'm not sure if it's because the videos I've uploaded recently use the new cards feature, but it seems like things are better for some videos, and worse for others.

I'm not sure about the un-sub issue. I don't think I've had that particular issue, but I hear a lot of YouTubers mentioning it in their videos. I always schedule my videos -- maybe videos need to already be uploaded for a certain amount of time (and finish going through CID scanning processes and whatnot) before the un-sub issue can no longer happen?

Me too. Exactly 6. I had the Socialblade Realtime sub count up and it shows just huge drop in a second. Just a straight line down, so it probably wasn't just 6 people unsubbing separately.

As a whole, though, this new algorithm, if that's what it is, is doing my channel a ton of favors. Picked up like 100 subs in two days and watchtime is wayyy up.
 
I lost a couple subs but my views increased. I wonder if the rumor i heard is true about Youtube trying to get rid of the bigger creators.
 
It seems like multiple small Youtubers in this thread alone has lost 6 subscribers exactly the moment they upload. This is not a coincidence, it's not just big Youtubers, there really is a problem here.
 
Well right now I think I've found a new bug in this algorithm. My video views randomly dropped. My latest video was at 98 views and now it's at 34, but earlier it was at 20. Other videos have dropped, but went back up. YouTube pls stop tugging my heart strings.
 
Either we're having really bad luck with subscribers, or this is affecting us too, we've been to 197 subs about 5 or 6 times now, but it only lasts a day then it's gone. Last weekend however, we didn't upload for two days, hit 197 after our upload on Friday, and kept it until Monday when we uploaded again. Luckily for us we haven't dropped passed where we were but at this point it seems like a pretty big coincidence for it not to be the glitch.

As for the views, ours have been up slightly this last week, so if it's the algorithm change doing that, I like it lol

Same here, analytics says I gained 12 subscribers but when I go to my channel I don't see any new subscribers :( pretty dang cruel.
 
So when everyone was having YT problems I was having none, but when everyone stops talking about it YT goes mental on me, lol. Video views going up and down and up and down like a damn see-saw, subs and unsubs and resubs and ghost subs when nothing changed in my subs or my email sub notifications. Talk about fooked up. One vid went from 50 views to 40 views to 58 views all in a day.
