You know how hard was it back then to get 1 million views? Nowadays you see videos that bloom up to the millions and that's normal! It's not dying. Being a new YouTuber now, ain't a slide ride, you're climbing Mt.Everest now. If some of you intimidated by the reach, don't bother. Find another thing to do.

I really like making videos but Youtube is not rewarding to small channel that are talented and with a unique personality. I might be wrong but this is how I see it.

I'm up to 210k views and I never even used YouTube once before I started. So there's room and opportunity for everyone. If you can't make it maybe it's just not for you

Kinda, there's too much "Corporate Competition" with all those VEVO channels, major news outlets probably profiting from all the crap they post That and Youtube Red, etc.

I think your chances of getting noticed on YouTube alone are much smaller. That doesn't mean I'm not doing my research to try to position my videos to get noticed. It just means I'm doing everything else in my power to use other platforms to direct traffic to my YT channel. I'm just focusing on the process and trusting the results will eventually come.

"I'm just focusing on the process and trusting the results will eventually come" That's true.

I think must people get discouraged before they even start, just simply by looking at the statistics. I think YouTube defiantly needs to fix their search engine in some ways to help the little guys out, but thats easier said than done. I would say some of the best youtubers are made from the hard work they had to put in to get to the top. It's why we look up to them and structure our videos to match theirs. I think that's truly the key to being successful. Those that already are successful, are there for a reason, it's just a matter of knowing how they did it and imitating that. That itself is essential, along with SEO, learn that and you have learned the YouTube algorithm.
