Help with structuring videos?

So Ive been at the whole YouTube thing for a while now (4 years-ish) and have hit a bit of a block lately, just looking over my past videos I feel like I never properly make my point I just tend to ramble. I tend to write down bullet points of important information but don't know any ways to properly structure what I'm saying.

I'm feeling really frustrated as I don't think I'm necessarily terrible on camera but what I'm saying is just coming out kind of jumbled if that makes any sense?

If anyone out there could offer some advice Id really appreciate it!

I think you give yourself less credit than you deserve. I watch a couple of your videos and all of them managed to make good points in all of them. You explained what you think, why you think that and how that ties in with the larger topic.

If you are really unhappy or want to improve I would consider digging up your college book about constructing an argumentation. And most importantly, the more time you spend with an argumentation the better it tends to get.

But as I said there is nothing wrong with your argumentations to begin with in the videos I saw.

Ah man thanks so much, I wasn't expecting such nice sentiments right off the bat! :D

I don't think I ever got a book on argumentation in college! :p

Do you think I could improve things a bit by scripting things out more?

I think you are the only person who can answer that question. What works for some people doesn't work for others. Scripting tends to make an argument cleaner, eliminating repetition and adding a little more structure. But on the other hand it can also make you sound less natural and authentic. Then again you may be a natural at reading from script. My gut feeling is that you don't need it as the gain in your case would be rather minimal, as you already present with clarity and structure.

Personally I have the opposite problem, I script and I wish I could get away from that. I am not good at talking from script, but even worse when working without. That is why in the project I am working on now I am going to try getting some voice actors.
