Does after reaching 100 subs youtube gain you more traffic?

It's all trial and error, just know when you start getting 1-2 subs daily, then you're going to get the ball rolling, and you can't stop, otherwise you'll lose momentum.

the more subs you get the faster your channel grows 0 too 100 to was so hard but the 100 to 1000 was easier!

after 1k everything it so much faster x

That's great to know...thanks for the info mate :)

Nah not really i'm over the 100 subs and if i don't promote or use the right tags, no one will see my videos.
Youtube doesn't do anything for you at 100 subs maybe at 10k or so they start recommending you more often.

I see that means after reaching 100 you will be able to create a custom url & 100-1k subs journey will be a little bit of faster comparing to the 0-100 subs. Not something like gaining more traffic :)[DOUBLEPOST=1479270492,1479270365][/DOUBLEPOST]

Don't think so. I have read that after the 1K point, your channel is featured more often though

So it's after 1k not 100 subs.Actually I'm hearing these news about youtube for the first time,so a little bit of confused :D

I'm still working on how to promote my channel and my growth channel is slow as well. I just want to hit 300 subs by the end of this year. Hopefully there are more helpful tips that I can promote my channel even more.

well i just hit 100 and I see an increase in traffic on my channel but i wouldnt say u gain more traffic by passing 100, Its just when you reach 100 u gained your foundation for your youtube channel and some things that might cause u to gain more traffic is improving from your past mistakes and being more comfortable in front of a camera. also when someone sees a youtuber with more than 100 subs there more willing to view the content vs someone with 20 subs.

Nah, there really is no specific point in which you'll get the snowball effect until you're like 10,000+ probably. I just hit 2,000 and its about the same as it was when I was 1k.

Hello best friends,

Actually I just see on a forum a person posted that "Once you do hit 100 subscribers youtube will detect you have hit 100 subs and gain you more traffic!".Honestly I never heard about his before. So my question is does after reaching 100 subscriber youtube really gain more traffic on your channel?

Thanks a lot :)

100 subs, sorry to say, means nothing these days algorithmically.
You're looking at an absolute minimum of 1000 subs (and corresponding traffic) to start getting test placements in suggested of slightly bigger channels.
For "more" traffic, which I take to mean "real" viewers (and not other creators with their own channels nor s4s loops), a minimum would be around the 2k-5k sub mark.
Between 5k and 10k subs you'll start getting more suggested spots on larger sub channels, and of course be more widely placed by the algorithm across the platform, generating real traffic from real viewers.
The algorithm has fuzzy leveling (my terminology) for channels. It ranks your channel against all others and uses those metrics to determine when and where you get exposure. It's thus critically important to constantly improve and keep the ball rolling to level up in subs and views.
And the sad reality of the algorithm is that, at any point in time, you are only a few videos away from being ranked down with a corresponding large drop in traffic and sub growth.
And... there are thousands and thousands of startup channels behind you all eagerly trying to take your spot in the line.

Subs mean nothing unless they are viewing your content which is giving you the more views. More active subs equals you getting more views. YouTube isn't throwing any more traffic at you because you hit 100 subs. In the big picture, 100 subs is tiny. But even with 50 subs you could still rank in search and that will bring up your channel and help you.

I know channels that have over a 1,000 subs and their videos have such low views and they are definitely not getting pushed by YouTube either.

Good tags, good descriptions and good networking can get your videos discovered and crossing your fingers and toes. LOL[DOUBLEPOST=1479323463,1479322912][/DOUBLEPOST]

I always use the term real viewers. LOL....When I first put out a video I don't consider those first few days real viewers. It's mostly other channels looking to just self promote or other channels we are actually friendly with. After that if views start to climb, comments start to slow down I know my video is starting to get viewed by real viewers and is coming up in searches or suggested videos. Sometimes that doesn't even happen until after a few months later after I published the video.

Also, when I look at our sub list I love seeing subs with no subscribers or no videos posted. They truly subbed you because they like your content.

Now I will say, as a small channel under 1,000 subs I am still able to rank a lot of my tags on the first page but I find that even that doesn't necessarily mean your video is going to do great with a ton of views.
