Does after reaching 100 subs youtube gain you more traffic?

Reading this post makes me want to run Adwords just to drive us up to the 5K-10K sub range with views in 3M. We have been stuck in a awful rut of about 4.5k subs, 2.5M views for months with a total downward trend of subs and views as well. Maybe Adwords will push us to the next tier to be suggested on spots with larger channels. Discussing with the hubby about investing $ back into Adwords. He's hesitant because I've been learning a lot from you, translating everything, doing more trendy topics, changing up keywords, etc... He thinks I should give myself more time with these changes. But, as you know with women, we are NOT patient creatures sometimes.

We went into this with the expectation that it will cost a lot to start and grow the business (channel). Like any business, it takes a lot of time and capital to make it successful. I think it comes down to mindset and purpose - doing Yt for fun/hobby or business/profit. Btw, nothing wrong with having fun and enjoying it as you're making money as well - the most awesome business is the one that generates profit, supports your family, provides a future for the kids, and you love what you do.

Personally I noticed a big jump in subscriber count after I hit 100. Views have increased too. I think youtube starts suggesting you more once you hit certain points. It could also be a fact I've learnt a lot more about SEO and stuff

We've been in your kind of situation for months as well. It's so frustrating sometimes to be in this place. But I think we can only do what we can control as creators. Make awesome videos, give the algo the right food (metadata), run adwords and maybe with a little luck, you, me and other channels will take off.

Not in my case sadly, but hopefully youtube will notice that i upload daily and will start recommending my videos/channel

Yes, thanks so much for your words of motivation. Sometimes, I get so focused on this, and take it almost personally... lol, as if the algorithm is a person who just hates me. Haha!! I call him Algo. Damn you, Algo!!!

On another note, thanks so much for messaging me about the fake channel that literally stole all my videos and reposted them. I just reported 3 stolen videos to YT. Though they've taken much more... I figure 3 strikes and your out. So, that channel named "Mark Doe" can be shut down.

On the strikes, they count per time you report I found out. So if you filed a copyright note for 3 video at once, it counts as 1 strike. If you would file one ideo, wait untill taken down, file another and wait again and then file a third, their channel is removed straight away. Found this out myself last week.

People keep saying this but I've removed 4 channels each with a single batch report.

The batch report option would be 100% worthless if it only gave 1 strike to mass reupload channels, and yeah google is fairly incompetent, but not that incompetent.
