Do you watch your own videos?

I used to watch my own videos more, mostly my older ones just to see what they were like..
Other than that, I watch my most popular videos from time to time to see if they are actually worth being that popular (they never are LOL)

I watch my own video's to try to see from a viewers eye if my video's enjoyable. I often question whether Its too long, gets off topic or is uninteresting and would I have watched the video if I wasn't the content creator. It really helps for improvement for future video's and learning what I want for my video's.

Since we are a community channel, I often go through it and watch other member's videos. Got some pretty entertaining lads on the channel I must say. Always cheers me up when I need it.

I do watch my videos during edit, but I have troubles showing people my videos - sitting with them and directly showing them my content. I feel very confused and anxious haha! That's why I just send people links or leave the room after asking them to watch my video What a weirdo.

Usually for me, when I post a video, I watch it once, just to make sure everything is fine and dandy. But recently, I've found myself watching my newer videos 2 - 4 times because I'm so happy with the video that I created. And because of this, I also watch it enough to find some flaws in my videos, which is good because that means the next video I make will be even better!

Does this happen to anyone else?

every single one, if i find a mistake, i take it out on my dogs...swear they listen to me complain for hours lol

I only watch my videos while I edit them. After that, I don't watch it again.

I've heard a lot of youtubers debate recently on if they watch their own videos or not.
Personally I watch it through once to make sure what I uploaded is what I wanted to be uploaded and then after that I don't touch it because if I watch it too many times I lose my nerve and want to take it down.
Do you watch your own videos? Why/Why not?

I feel the exact same way! I work with a production crew where we create comedy sketches and short films but its not much different. I edit the video and once i've checked back on it to make sure everything is right i upload it and never really look back at it. i do that because i'm never fully satisfied with my work and always think i can improve. I can't watch older videos or else i have that weird cringy feeling hahah
