Would anyone mind giving me some constructive criticism for my YouTube channel? It can be anything at all that I can edit and improve. Feel free to be mean...
Hey! I just checked out your YouTube channel and it is awesome. I really like the video you open up with for non-subscribers! I think something that would help you in your videos is catch the audience within the first 10-30 seconds of your video. Since you are a gamer, I know that is more difficult than it is for vloggers. However, it is still do-able and really beneficial in the long run. How you could do this would be like let's say you are filming a Sims video. So, for you intro, you could say, "Hey everybody and welcome back to my channel! Today we are back in the world of Sims. Let's get started!" It's short and simple, but still tells the viewer what they are going to get out of the video. Also, always try to improve your thumbnails as much as possible. They are looking really good already, but remember that sometimes simple is better. Your Sims thumbnails look awesome. Finally, just work on audio and maybe try to get the right technology to have your face in the corner, so that the viewer can see what you're doing (kind of like Mark Pliar has, if you know what I'm talking about). That's up to your however. Your microphone is good, but you could always strive to improve when the time is right. I think a lot of you not having a surplus of subscribers has to do with how you promote your channel. Your About tab could always have some more information. But other than that, keep up the good work!! Your channel is awesome!
