Comments counter bug and changes to comments and alerts

I hate to sound like an a** because of this, but you could avoid the ads with the YouTube Adblocker.
 
Uhm i recently watched a video with the answer and it worked for me. Basically, you want to play the video for a few seconds and then you'll be able to reply back. Im guessing maybe they want to protect against hate msg and spam but that's irrelevant for the youtuber. try it maybe itll work for u.
 
IRK, It's getting super annoying. I try to reply to one of my comments and it fails to post. Right now I am just saving my reply's to a text edit and posting them when it works.
 
Noticed this a few days ago, it's quite annoying and the only way to stop it would be to turn off notifications to the people you're subscribed to. Makes having the option to only email subscription notifications completely useless.
 
A strange thing has been happening just lately and I have no idea what is causing it. Basically on some videos, it will say the video has a number of comments, but they won't show up, and just shows you a big white space. I've tried clearing the cache, signing in and out and changing browser, so i'm somewhat perplexed as to what it might be. has anyone else experienced this at all? Here's an image of what i mean, just white space and no comments showing. It's done this for a lot of videos recently. Odd

Go into your account settings under the Comments tab. There will be tabs here that say something like "under review" "spam" and another.

Apologies, I should have mentioed this in the original post. these are not comments on my videos, but just other videos I am watching. Sometimes they appear, sometimes I just get white space.
