Comments counter bug and changes to comments and alerts

Youtube is legit messing up everything for everyone, watchers and creators alike, as for replying to comments, what i find helps is going into your video manager, then clicking the community drop down tab on the left, and from there answering comments, it shows who commented what, and on what video! You can literally manage all your comments from there, as well as see spam messages and or messages!
 
I really don't like the change either. I don't like how when it says someone has replied to me, I can't quickly reply from that alert like you could before. Now, the only way to do it is to click on the comment and go to the actual video (but I don't want to watch my videos for 20 seconds each time I reply to a reply and mess up my audience retention and or risk viewing my own ads)

I also get the impression that comments are disappearing.
 
I really didn't even notice this change until I read this thread. Yup, been like this for a little while for me as well. I just never really thought about it until now.
 
So recently when I comment it will say "Comment fail to post."
I will try a different browser and signing out, and eventually it will post... I'm just curious why this is happening and how I can fix it?

I thought at first I was banned from a certain YouTube channel, but it happens on my own videos as well... And tips?
 
I've seen some weird things happen with comments lately. Some videos say they have a certain amount of comments, yet the page is blank and no amount of refreshing or changing browsers helps. I've also noticed that videos take a good 5 seconds to start. They just sit there with a black screen, then all of a sudden it will start. Super annoying. If it's not broke don't fix it!
