Video Stealing By Other YouTubers

I just saw some Youtube channel that was created yesterday that already has over 100,000 views, over 1000 subscribers, and it is made of nothing but other people's videos. The only reason I found it is because I was searching for this video that my girlfriend showed me and it came up on this page... when I saw that it was just uploaded yesterday it got my attention because she showed it to me a few days ago..... and yes it's monetized. s**t if it's that easy to just use other people's stuff then I don't see the point in being creative. If I see my videos pop up there I will be p****d and report their a**

yeah I looked into it and I guess they were posting other people's videos to their facebook page, but Facebook was taking them off. So their solution was to just copy these videos and create a Youtube account[DOUBLEPOST=1354294744,1354294695][/DOUBLEPOST]

But if you like put your channel name in the beginning of the vid and at the end THATS A GREAT IDEA BUT, cant they edit that out????? COZ IF they could edit that out then you or me still may have a problem Im scared right now :'(

in the middle, i put it throughout at the bottom. but I guess you could wear clothes in the vid w/ your youtube channel name in it? haha
or say it in the video somewhere

I f you put something at the beginning or end they can easily edit that out, can even do that after uploading to youtube in the video editing section you can trim your video. Best thing to do is add a watermark to your video that runs throughout, that way there's is no question whos video it is, thats what I do.

I f you put something at the beginning or end they can easily edit that out, can even do that after uploading to youtube in the video editing section you can trim your video. Best thing to do is add a watermark to your video that runs throughout, that way there's is no question whos video it is, thats what I do.

If you already have the video uploaded I don't think you can use youtube video editor to add a watermark unless you was just going to write some text on the video, that seems to be an option.
If you was going to use a logo, would have to do it in a video editor before you upload, might be able to do it in one of the creator tools online video editors, but you would have to upload the video straight to the editor.

yeah they can but I guess the trick is to make it as annoying as possible for them to edit out...

It is really hard to protect video copyright online. What you can do as one suggested above is to place your logo or any branding somewhere within the video. People will be reluctant to grab the video if they see some branding on it.
