some good info twitter is a really good tool for promotion some many users to put your content in front of

You could also find someone who has a Twitter with similar interests to yours with a lot of followers (around 500 or so) and follow all the people following the person and they may follow you back and check you out! You don't wanna follow more than about 300 people in a day or Twitter will think you're follow spamming and suspend your account!
