I think people have this general understanding that "hey i have a camera, i can be popular on youtube without knowledge!" It takes knowledge, you have to know how to interact with the camera, lighting, story telling, sound design, editing, there are so many factors that play into making a good video that a lot of people don't understand. It takes a lot of research, and a lot of practice to get good at making videos. SO the people who make videos with no knowledge of this are suffering because they wonder why they don't get views, and subs, and in the end thats when people buy subs and views because their content is lacking and they don't understand why. that being a huge factor, tagging is also probably the second biggest factor in my opinion

you can laugh unfortunately is you look at how i started on this forums.. using the chat rooms and making friends i had to stop that. I am tired of people getting mad and me because I get upset at the system they have gamed. I have enjoyed some channels and really liked the people and their content. I then turn around and find they have taken what I consider to be friendship and any support I try to give and cheapened it. I instanly loose respect and in one case I am very upset. All because they couldn't just plug away at it slowly. They would have earned it all the right way and I would have been exstatic. So mok me if you will the reality is that what i started out here as and what I am doing now are two totally different things. I find it very hard to endorse things that I dont agree with I certainly dont endorse teaching people how to get rich quick. And that is exactly what is going on here. You want to partner great i will fall over myself congratulating you if you do it the right way. I can't stand dishonesty and I dont care how good anyone is at what they do. Cheating a system is dishonesty you can be the next lucille ball or micheal jackson however if you dont do the ground work and do it properly I loose all respect for the person and their work. I also start to wonder how much is theirs and what else they are stealing to get where they were!

well unfortunately you know i am not popular because i expect people to earn their shinies. I have given up on this forum in many ways. I am in fact pretty damned tired of watching people cheat the system and then go "look at me look at me". Its a real slap in the face. If you notice I haven't done a yttalk tag video there is a reason for that. There are some nice people here but unfortunately being nice doesnt make it okay to do not nice things. I grind posts now to earn cash for banners. I find it very hard to socialize with people who are doing those things above. So I have abandoned the forums in many ways. I took my free stuff down I no longer say hello to anyone and I just promote my crap using any yttalk cash I can get. I came here for social reasons I am no longer here for that. I gave up you see.

I'm sorry you feel this way, urbanlamb, and I'm in no way coming down on you. However this is not the first time you have insulted the forum and it's members. I remember at one point you pretty much called me crazy. I think if you feel this way about the site and it's members, what gives you the right to then use it's promotional tools when you have no interest in socializing with anyone or helping anyone else out? I feel like you're taking your own personal feelings toward the direction YouTube is going out on this site, when in reality you really don't have to do that. Who cares about who's popular and not, for the most part we all support each other and want to see everyone do well. I know I do at least.

So, yes, the passive aggressive remarks towards the members here do personally offend me because I don't feel like their necessary, but maybe you feel differently.

I am trying very hard not to ruin their chances at moving forward with life. So that is why I am holding my tongue. You can choose to call it something else if you so choose. however I can always request this thread be taken down as well and just leave. I am trying to help and I am trying VERY hard to not do something about those who have gamed the system. You have no idea. I have even been accused of indirectly trolling channels. That is in your heads and imaginations. I have never left a single negative comment and unlike possibly those accusing me of it do that because that is their way so that is why they come up with such things. I have only one channel and dont hide behind alts. So you can take it as you please the reality is the reason i am as you call it going about things INDIRECTLY trying to give info and ask questions is quite simple. I think that they will learn from their mistakes. I dont want to be the one responsible for having them loose what they have gained all be it dishonestly because at the end of the day i think they will recover from it. I know full well what I say gets fed to other people from private messages i am not stupid. They know what i think of them and why.

take from it what you will but I do not want to be the one to have them loose what they just gained so you will never see a single outward comment about it NEVER ever. That fireviews not being real views part is complete BS. When I was using them I got about 15 subs from it, and no one is required to sub from that site, they chose to, and some comment on my videos. Why you're hung up on sites like that is beyond me.

When you get 75-100 subs a day and your videos average 250-400 views...something is f*****g wrong. You can tell those stats are being manipulated by the owner of the channel. People know that I can't f*****g stand that. My point is everyone on this forum knows how I feel about this and I would like to think that most of everyone here considers me to be a nice person here on the forum. I know when and how to say the things that matter while not throwing the whole forum (including the people who work hard for their views and subs) under the bus. I mean I know what your trying to say and I get it but you are staining the face of YTtalk .com with these posts. Yes I want yttalk to be a shining beacon of rightness. Everytime someone here does something who is a partner its spitting in the face of the people who have graciously put up this forum. I know how long it takes to get somewhere because I help others do it and have had to do it myself. I am not going to start calling individuals out though. It serves no purpose. I also think they are in the right place in most cases re: partnerships its simply not right how they got there.

It's essentially the same as using facebook; it's just on facebook people go on the site to see whats going on in general, with fireviews people go on to see what new videos are out there

ask any marketer why those sites are bad including the pro marketer who kind of wisks in and out that ray dude. They will explain it. This is another reason why I can't be bothered to "name names" I dont want to argue over it. Nope its a view trading site also known as a traffic rotator. All you have to do is read what comes up in the search engines to find that out it says "get viewed by viewing others" its not real traffic. Its a bunch of people on there with to sole purpose of trading views comments and likes. Its not real.
