Yeah hopefully it picks up :(.

Right now it's reminiscent of giveaways. I keep getting an assurance of false growth, since my total video views go up, but no subs.
 
This is a pretty neat guide you have here, A nice like for you.
The biggest advise you can give to somebody is to let them be theirselves or host something that's uniuqe.

Advertise is a great method I must say that's if you can afford it. May I ask how much in total you spent on advertisements?

I think I have spent maybe 50-60$. 16$ twice and $25 once. I was very impressed with the results while I was small. This is truly best for very small channels. If you are large, invest the money in something else. At this point tweeting out the video an extra time will get me as many subs as running an ad. I did find this helped me get over the 100 subs hump though.
 
Does YouTube not have PayPal payment options? I just spent 10 minutes preparing an ad but now that I'm at the point of setting up payment for it I can't do it...

I guess I'll try a prepaid card, but if that doesn't work, then it isn't worth it. And then I'll have to find something to waste the prepaid card on, but that shouldn't be too hard. Last time I had a prepaid card, I had to donate the last $9 to charity because there was nothing else I wanted for that price.

It doesn't accept paypal :(.

I used my Visa Debit card.

What's the recommended budget per day? Currently I have it at $0.71 per day and just barely got accepted.
 
I loved your video! I followed your advice and paid for advertising, but I didn't see much improvement. I'm at 21 subscribers and I have a futurology focused channel (advancements in technology/science/culture ). I know I have an audience on YouTube because SciShow, VSauce, and other science and technology channels already exist and are huge. I'm not sure what my next step should be?
 
Best video tutorial i've ever seen about gaining subscribers. I won't go and promote my stuff yet due to the fact that I dont have enough videos to make the advertising worth the cost yet. I will wait til I have like 100 videos at least to start paying. I want the ads to bring people to a channel that is very busy and has plenty of stuff for people to watch. Thanks alot!
