Get traffic on your videos from Reddit

It's difficult to find relevant subreddits sometimes. You can't just post to r/gaming (see the subreddit rules) and the smaller game subreddits often don't have the traffic/ aren't worth it. Posting to r/letsplayvideos, etc. gets you nowhere as no one seems to ever look at them!
 
I've had some VERY minor success with reddits, less than 100 views, but I'm afraid to post on anything big. Redditors are leftovers from the 3rd Reich when you post your own content. Doesn't matter how relevant it is or how good it is.

I've gained a total of 60 karma in less than 2 months and I'm happy with that. I want to start finding larger subreddit groups so I can get some more views, but I am SO afraid of the downvote train that will then lead to my videos being downvoted constantly, spam comments, etc (which happens).

Gee, thanks for feeding my paranoia/nervousness about this subject! :confused:

... No, honestly, I think it's great you mention it, as it is a real problem... I like reddit and find loads of interesting stuff there, but dare not post anything about my own channel there, for the exact same reason as you =/
 
Well, don't get me wrong, I do use it for my own channel. I'm just afraid to go to a bigger subreddit
 
Pretty much. Garners like 3 to 7 upvotes, maybe 20 views. It's because the subreddits are smaller, not frequented often, etc. LOL

Yeah, I get it... I just started my channel last month, so every view counts ;)
- Do you have any idea if those viewer leave more comments?

Thanks for subscribing as well. I haven't seen many more comments from reddit directly, but I've only been on YouTube for like 2 months as of May 23rd, so in the long run maybe!
