JTMulcahy, I am a little confused. Your time frame for taping would be from now (I will get at least most of the script done today, hopefully) until the 14th of July. Also the clips will only be about 20-30 seconds in length. To be honest I actually wanted you to play the part of the rival, lol. Although if you feel that you cannot participate, I understand and I would like to thank you for original interest.

Agent00, Thank you for your interest I would love for you to participate. Just a note I would much rather have all of our conversations in this thread so that I can keep track of everything, so please keep checking the thread. Sorry for the inconvenience .

So some updates for now. The way this will work out is I will upload a pdf of the script and you will look for you parts. So you might be wondering how to get the clips to me. Whats going to happen is that you will tape all of your parts and up load them on YouTube. Then you will mark them unlisted and send me the link. I do ask you that at the end of each of your clips you say "I give BoomSock Productions rights to use this clip". There will be instructions on how long it will have to be, it is imperative that you follow this (saying that Boomsock has the rights to this clip does not count). If your video has to be 20 seconds or less please make it so (going over by a second is very annoying). The reason for this is because I feel that this episode might run a little long and all of this time adds up, so please respect the time frame. So the way the script will be written is I will write all of your parts out. But at the same time during some areas I will give you the choice to say what you want instead. For example the introduction of yourself. Again I ask that you respect the time frame. I also ask that you do not use any cuts (use one continuous take), this will make the clips look choppy and I would rather not have it that way. After you are done making the clips for the script, I would like all of you to make a video that advertises the episode on your channel. The episode will be featuring all of you, but again I want to help us all grow our channels. This is a very important part of the plan. I will do the same for your channels at the end of the video. Again thank you all for your interest and please keep checking this thread as more update will be posted frequently. I will start on the script now and I will post updates in a couple hours.
 
The 14th? Yea I can definitely help. I appologize I was thinking you meant tomorrows Saturday. I'm excited again haha!

So here is a quick update. I am about halfway through the script. But I have hit a problem. There are too many people for the game show Idea to work. The file I will be uploading soon will only have about 5 or six of you. I apologize for this, but if I add more people the episode will run really long. There is also the fact that some of you will have less airtime then others. Except for the first 2 people I picked everyone at random (from people who got back to me). I can add others if you tell me that you do not mind how long you are on screen, you will have an intro that talks about your channel and gives your youtube channel. As of now though I only have about 5 or 6 of you.[DOUBLEPOST=1373105696,1373098866][/DOUBLEPOST]So this is the first draft. I am afraid that I cannot add more people. I am afraid not unless someone drops out. Adding more people would mean that I would have to add more rounds to the games and give less time for the intro. It would Also mean that the episode would be extremely long and I want audience retention to be high. Because of this I rewrote the last half of the script. Other then JT I picked the last three people by random. This was entirely my fault, I did not think that there would be so much interest and my planning fell apart. I apologize for that. Because of this I will be working on another collaboration video very soon. The people that weren't chosen will be used there. So do not worry, there will be a part for you no matter what.[DOUBLEPOST=1373123248,1373110116][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay so I made a lot of spelling corrections and some slight changes to dialogue. I have also uploaded a checklist of all of your parts. even though I have provided a checklist please make sure you tape all of the scenes you are in (double check the main script). I am only human and might have made a mistake.

JTMulcahy, I made your character very charming and likeable. If you want to change the dialogue please keep this in mind. Looking at your videos, I saw that you are very personable and I would like to showcase this. I also want to show your range by making you more serious at the end. I hope that this is satisfactory. As I mention in your scene breakdown, you do not have to do the alternate ending. Please do not feel pressured to do so.

James Lewis, I saw that your music tutorials did well. I also personally think that you are very musically talented. This is what I wanted to showcase. I ask for rifts and chords, you can play any you wish. But I ask that you do not use copyright music. I do not want the video to be flagged. Although I would like to showcase your original music if possible. But again up to you (but not copyrighted songs). Also when there is mention of you playing something please make sure it is 15 secs or less.

@Simon Servida, I really liked you introduction video for your channel and I want to show case that character. You were quirky and funny.

Rilo The Rathlubian, I saw two of your videos and saw that you liked to talk to yourself. I thought this was a good gimmick to your character. Be it padding your ego on the back or arguing with yourself, I think that you will make an interesting a funny character.

Side note for all of you. Please do everything in one take (no cuts) I do not want the scenes to look choppy. Rilo is the exception, since his scenes call for it.

The gist on how this will work. I would like you to tape of all your scenes (following the instructions in the breakdown). Make sure at the end of each video you say "I give permission to BoomSock Productions to use this video". This is just to make sure nothing bad happens. After you have uploaded you video to your channel mark it unlisted and email me the link boomsockprod(at)gmail.com and I will take care of the rest. If it is possible I would like a schedule of when you plan to tape and upload your videos. This is my first collaboration and I would like everything to as smoothly as possible. Remember that I need everything by or before July 14th.

This last step is very important. After you are done filming your scenes and I have access to them make a video advertising the episode. The episode will be released July 17th 6:00 pm pst. Your ad video should be on the same day. Also make sure that you tell all of your followers. This project is so that all of us can grow together so we need to work together to do so. At the end of the episode I will plug all of your channels (and if you notice I plug your channels during the video quite often). Together we can grow into bigger channels, I am sure of it. I thank you for participating in this great stepping stone. I hope that we can do this in the future! Also a side note if you guys are interested I would like to do an interview about your experience with the involvement of the video. This will only happen if all of you agree, I am planning to do some sort of special after the episode.

If you have any questions please put them in this thread and I will answer them as soon as I can and rectify any concerns you have.

Information for those who had interest in a collaboration. Because of my terrible planning I have left a lot of you out and I feel awful. To rectify this I am planning to do another collaboration video that will be released on July 31st. I do not know the premise of the episode yet, but I will start writing it next week. I will create a new thread for this episode. I will personally contact you so that you know when this thread is up and I will make you guys are a priority. Again, I am sorry for my misstep and I hope that this will be satisfactory.

Please check this thread frequently, I will update both projects frequently these next couple days.

HAHAHAHA OH MY GOBBIDYBLOOBIDY BLOP!!!! Ok for one, YOU sir are a very funny creative dude! I've only had the chance to read the first parts of the script and I was actually laughing a bit. Then I see you posted my lines and I go to the alternate end, and I'm about to die, that was just hilarious! Oh gheez, I feel that you are definitely going places haha.
 
You will tape your parts then upload it to ur youtube accout. In the setting where you set the videos to private or public make it unlisted and send me the link i will take care of the rest. If you were interested in this specific project I am sorry to say that the roles have been filled up. But I will be working on another collaboration video that will air on the 31st of July.
