Hello everyone, sorry for being inactive with the updates. I have finished the skeleton of the episode I will finish the script fri/sat and it should be uploaded Monday at the latest (maybe with some poorly drawn story boards). The release for this episode will be on the 17th of July. I will edit everything the 15th of July by latest. If anyone wants to join there is still time but this Saturday is the last day. Everyone who was interested in this thread please comment back so I know you are okay with this schedule. Also is you want to be involved please check this thread often I will be doing updates fairly frequently from this point on. Thank you for your time. Here is what I have so far:
PROJECT TITLE: Game Show in Progress (working title)
GENRE: Comedy
1. Opening Image (1): Ajay is trying to do vlogs, all of the vlogs are the same because he doesn’t do anything. Fade theme song.
2. Theme Stated (5): Allen is on the computer and he see an ad, it is about a vlogger contest and states that all vloggers are welcome.
3. Set-up (1-10): Allen goes up to Ajay and tells him about the contest.
4. Catalyst (12): Ajay doesn’t want to do it because he thinks the basis of the contest is to exploit the contestants. Allen explains that there is prize money.
5. Debate (12-25): Ajay needs the money, because he needs money for rent so he reluctantly agrees.
6. Break into 2 (25): Ajay and Allen make an entry video. And get accepted. All of the contestants are introduced (20-30 secs depending on how many people). There is a point rating system, 3-4 rounds and you can pass one challenge (don’t have to participate and you get max points).
7. B Story (30): One of the competitors gives a good introduction; they are well put together, and is very likeable. Ajay get jealous and makes them his rival. He is determined to beat him.
8. Fun and Games (30-55): 1st round find an object in your house game (something like scavenger hunt (Allen will pass this one, Ajay and him fight about it but too late). The first player to bring something gets more points). 2nd round show an object and tell a personal story (20-30 secs depends on how many people, Note Allen will find a random object in reach and Ajay will make up a story on the fly they barely get through to next round). The 3rd round will be breaking an object, the most expensive object will win more points. Everyone passes Allen immediately gets Ajay’s watch box and destroys it. They get bonus points.
9. Midpoint (55): There is a break Ajay and Allen find out that they are in the finals (there might be one more round depending on how many people). In the final round is telling the audience more about themselves and the audience will vote who is the final winner.
10. Bad Guys Close In (55-75): The rival give a heart warming tale about himself. Ajay and Allen become emotional after watching their rival speak.
11. All Is Lost (75): They lose.
12. Dark Night of the Soul (75-85): Ajay worries about the rent, the webcam is still on. Their rival offers to give half of the prize money.
13. Break into 3 (85): Ajay is relived that he does not have to worry about the rent for the month. Ajay talks about how nice that person was and that vlogging might not be for them.
14. Finale (85-110): The rival is seen from his computer. He/she talks to themselves. Goes from good to bad personality.
15. Final Image (110): He/she vows to destroy Ajay because they see him as a budding threat.
