At the end of the day tho, you have to be pumping out good content.

I mean, I've just been grinding since 2013. No cross promotions, no shoutouts–nothing. Just been uploading videos. Now I have over 4k subs and get a nice chunk of change every month. So I'd say that if you stick with it, there's a pretty good chance you'll find moderate success.

It really comes down to what your definition of "success" is, though.

I completely agree that luck is a factor, but i think consistency plays a good role in the growth of your channel.
