Honestly, anyone making a stink about this layout is not thinking. From a subscriber's viewpoint, it's all unified now. It's more like Netflix than a bunch of people trying to manipulate the layout to give them a unique look.

This is so much cleaner and makes me much happier as someone who watches videos. Therefore as someone who makes videos, I'm WAY happier.

I call it creativity. Your background will not make your videos better. But your background can make your channel look much more interesring in overall. And that is my biggest thumbdsown with the new template. Everyone is the same = boring. I will stay as long as possible with the old design

its just a pain if you worked hard on a back ground then only have a little banner space to change it to ..
