Youtubers taking the wrong way

Loving YTtalk
I have been in youtube since 2010 too and from 2007 with my old channel. I hate the fact that youtube is changing from "I will upload my videos here because it is my hobby and its fun" to "I need to upload for money and partnership"! This results in first of all people BEGGING for views and subs that is NOT THE RIGHT WAY! I think the idea is that when you ENJOY making your videos, others can enjoy them too! The awesome feeling that you get when someone likes your vids is destroyed if everyone liking doesnt even watch the video, just likes. I have nothing bad against cross-promotion, its great! But for the people who beg for subs and views, they are getting it wrong. I am here on YTTalk to see what other small channels make and to see you guys here, it is awesome. I am here for the community, not for the views. Even though I am a partner too, I dont try to upload as much as I can or do what someone wants me to do. I do what I want and upload when I like and what I like.

Thank You for reading, i hope we get a good conversation going on :D

I think there is a difference between people who actually create video's and people who do gameplay video's.
In my opinion people who create video's actually deserve to earn money. People who do let's play's are overrated at this moment. I do respect people who actually post reviews about different games and not just gameplay.

Good man, although YouTube is on a slow decline with loads of "Get rich quick" expectations and doing for the money not the enjoyment. We can lead the way with a nicer and more sociable community here and slowly take YouTube back (probably not going to happen, but we can dream :D)

We do what we like when we like. I agree with you though, if people don't make videos they love it will be obvious.

Now Like and Subscribe thanks. ;)

Yeah I agree. I have been doing gameplay and reviews too. But nowadays I upload pretty much everything. I dont want to assign my channel to certain type of videos. I make all kinds of vids: intros, movies, comedy, sports etc. and thats what keeps it fun for me :D

I agree. The way I see it I have wanted to upload game play before I even knew money was involved, maybe before it actually was even. But for me if I get partnered then its only a bonus not a priority. Obviously I would love to get partnered because who dosnt wanna get paid to do what they love. But thats it, its something I love and that comes first. I enjoy gaming, editing and uploading vids. I want the views so people can see my work and if some one wants to pay me afterwards so be it but thats not my main goal. I just want to entertain. but on that note if be sure to like, subscri...... lol jokes

Yup! At least we can dream and play our part in making youtube back to awesome place :D It is still fun to watch videos of these "not only for the money" youtubers, but it is a bad thing that we can see some personal channels losing their personality for money...

Respect your opinion man, just going to share my view on that aswell:

Although the market for gameplay videos is pretty high and over saturated I wouldn't go as far as saying they don't deserve the views they get. A lot of people who play games, get their views for their personality so they are still making videos same as everyone else, just with different content on the screen. Its a lot harder than it seems to get popular in gaming and anyone who has achieved a large fan base and is doing the videos for their enjoyment gets respect from me. Any who does it for the wrong reasons, or exploits the game industry doesn't :)
