YouTube is Removing Videos - Are You Affected?

YT support via Twitter said it was not a glitch and told us to appeal, but since we don't actually have any strikes, we can't appeal.

Has anyone here monitoring channels pre 2015? I’ve been monitoring EvantubeHD, Kittiesmama, Arkadius Kul and Gabe and Garrett through Social Blade. They seemed fine.

Our new channel with 156 subscribers - that we were going to make skits on - just got hit.

There's only 1 video on there. That got demonetized yesterday, it is my daughter's karate belt test.

Partner verified was approved on this channel, and the video was monetized since posting, Nov 17, 2017

So for 7 days the video and channel were fine, and now this.

KTR, is it possible because of channel art? While it looks OK to me, it's might be not for 1-3 yo? So basically my understanding now is whatever you do, make sure videos and all metadata are OK for 1yo children. My wife speaks russian and she saw a whole discussion this evening between russian creators online where they advise to switch to arabic as youtube doesn't seem to be able to cope with it and don't detect the tags/description. I would guess it's only a matter of time before Youtube finds out right?

If your other channel was on the same gmail account of your main channel, that might be the reason why that happened

Thanks, could you please give me the link? I speak Russian, would like to have a look. I clicked on on of the videos and was shocked how many of them in Arabic with the same content. There is even fake Ryan's Family review with Vlad's videos - UCrQAyEXyzETEkPrRUH7rbcg DAMN this has got out of control completely.

Might be good for making a quick buck, but definitely not the way to go in the long run, sooner or later they will get caught.

Plus since YT is going down hard about this, I wouldn`t exclude that if they keep trying to game the system YT could go after them legally.

Come on, there`s no way that growth is organic publishing 18 duplicated videos!
