YouTube has Changed.. Sadly

I think, like any platform, YouTube is what you make of it. I've found a great number of people who are more than willing to work together and to be supportive of one another, and who are creating content all their own.

There's a ton of noise out there, and like most things, the loudest people tend to get a lot more attention than they deserve, but it's still a fantastic thing, to be able to create videos and share them with the world.

You can say that about any social media site such as Twitter or FB, or basically the entire world, most people are just in it for themselves.

BUT... that is a generalisation, there are still people interested in genuine networking and making connections and about making and watching great entertaining videos- you just got to sift through the waves of relentless cretins to find your true friends.

I agree 100% I might a thread and video talking about the same thing. Don't worry some YouTubers want to be number one. They forget how they became popular, it's the little guys (smaller youtubers). I will support you

Cry me a river, letsplays absolutely destroyed actual original content like animation/short films/skits/etc. The community isn't genuine because you people killed it in attempt to ride the gravy boat to easy money, which is 99% of all LPs.

Yea! I'm not against game videos if they are reviews or tip videos. But I see about 3 new posts a day saying "how do I grow" or something like that from kids who just blather on about nothing on top of a game and I want to just scream. Why don't they just be honest and say " I want to be rich without having any talent or doing any hard work" that would be better.
