Youtube Deleting comments?

I have seen that when looking at the dashboard, I can see that a video has 0 comments, but when I look at the video, I see all of the comments....
I notice that some comments (that I even replied to) goes into the spam section as well.

Probably a glitch, I've had this exact same thing happen. My most popular video has hundreds of comments, and I'd gotten a new one, so went to go check it, and to my utter horror I saw there were no comments. I thought "Oh the comments must be being filtered" in some way, but I checked again, and no comments whatsoever. The hundreds of comments from my video had all completely disappeared.

I checked one of my other videos, only to find the same thing. At this point though I started to panic a little less and thought "Well perhaps it's all of YouTube", so I checked another video outside of my channel, and unfortunately all their comments were still there and intact, so I began to think that my comments really were gone. I got as far as posting about it on the Google forums about YouTube, but by the time I was done with my post, the comments were back as if they'd never left.

So I suspect your situation is similar and just a glitch. Check back a little later and see if they're back :)

I had this glitch on my channel one time, annoyingly it was on a Storytime video and somebody replied "Did this really happen?" I replied to tell them yes, it did, but now the comment's gone and I always wonder if the person who posted it thinks that I've deleted the comment because I don't want to be found out! Haha.
 
I get the same glitchy stuff from time to time... especially with "linked comment" ones. Sometimes can't reply, reload the page, works fine. One comment, which I could tell was from a human with a valid question pertaining to a video, disappeared within 5 minutes of being posted and never came back... Fun times.
 
Check the area where comments are held for approval.
I've had a few that YouTube have filtered. Once you approve them they can be seen by anyone and add to the comment count

It looks like I submitted my comment or pressed like at first. But if I reload the page it's gone. So it seems to be glitchy at times.

I'm not big either that's why I freaked out so much, I don't want that my subscribers think I delete them or something, was so odd

Nope, all the comments are still not there. That's the first time this happens, hopefully the last..
 
I just had a similar scare, but it was with my OWN comments. I clicked on a video to reply to a new comment when I found that all my replies to people were not there. I never delete my own comments, so I freaked out, haha. I when through the video manager and saw that there was a higher number of comments than shown visibly, and when I clicked on it so see the comments that way, I found my replies. Super strange, but at least there [sort of?] still there xD

Seems YT has been a little glitchy lately.

Yes, should be that, I heard of another person today saying the same thing... hahah exactly sort of :happy:
