I'd like to add that vloggers often do 'taggs' which means they can actually overuse the same subject without immediately being branded a copier xD

Definitely gamers. There are so many out there. I think the presence of so many lackluster gaming channels sort of turns people off of exploring other gaming channels, thus the actual good ones that aren't already popular generally don't take off...UNLESS they do something notable that suddenly captures waves of attention! (i.e. CholeraNinja with his League of Legends videos about two years ago)

Vloggers do have it hard as well, but I think it's slightly easier for them to create videos that people are likely to share as compared to gamers.

I signed up Youtube in 2007 but started uploading video's in September 2011:)
